We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the dynamic Haven Product Design team. Working for one of the UK's best-loved holiday brands, you will play a pivotal part in a team who design great customer centric experiences across all of our digital platforms, across guest-facing interfaces and team member tools, working closely with your colleagues in Digital.
With an ambitious digital roadmap to support an equally ambitious growth plan, you will be right at the heart of delighting our customers. You can be based anywhere in the UK for this role, as long as you’re happy to travel occasionally to meet up with your team and stakeholders.
Your Opportunity:
To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by:
- Designing great products that are easy to use and achieve business goals by understanding our Guests and users we’re designing for
- Exploring design options collaboratively with product managers, delivery team and users.
- Designing consistency sitewide experience
- Embracing and evolving the Haven Design System encouraging re use.
- Embracing challenges and inspiring new ways of thinking, leading delivery teams to create great user experience for web interfaces and applications.
- Taking an active, hands-on role in leading concepts with team members, providing design direction to other designers, and working with software engineers to implement designs into deliverable products.
- Understanding business goals, and translating them into unique design/creative solutions.
- Supporting business goals and product KPI through UX / UI design
- Mentoring and managing more junior members of the team
What we’d like you to bring:
- Proven design experience for large brands, in-house, agency or freelance
- Experience of mentoring more junior designers, or the ability to
- Proven stakeholder management skills
- Excellent understanding of user centered design principles and practices, web standards and layouts, typography and colour, and web usability standards
