This position is located within the Department of the Interior's (DOI) Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Environmental Compliance Division (ECD), Atlantic Section in Hadley, Massachusetts or Sterling, Virginia.

At the full performance level (GS-13) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Serves as the principal advisor on marine biology and ecology and its associated OCS components (e.g., corals, fish and fisheries, deepwater benthic communities, topographic features and banks, live bottoms, and other marine-life/marine-habitats), particularly as related to the National Marine Sanctuaries Act (NMSA), Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (MFCMA), Executive Order 13089 (Coral Reef Protection), and associated BSEE policy.

2. Serves as the lead Marine Biologist or Ecologist, leading BSEE's efforts on consultations and coordination with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) for the ECD's Atlantic region. These interagency coordination efforts regarding potential impacts to marine ecosystems from offshore activities under BSEE jurisdiction are required for Essential Fish Habitat (EFH). Serves as lead for the preparation/submittal of any subsequent EFH reports and analyses resulting from these coordination efforts. Serves as the lead on marine sanctuary issues in coordination with BOEM and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

3. Works with Atlantic Section staff and other program and agency staff on Marine Trash and Debris (MTD) oversight and the interagency and international coordination required under the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution From Ships (MARPOL) - Annex V, the Marine Plastic Pollution Research and Control Act (MPPRCA), and regulations imposed by various agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Prepares and submits any subsequent MTD reports and analyses ECD's Atlantic Sections' behalf.

4. Oversees office compliance monitoring and verification of operational reports and industry's Post Activity Submittals (PAS) as it relates to the field of expertise, which includes requisite documentation submitted after OCS operations are complete (in part or in whole) to verify/record compliance with environmental standards

5. Delivers briefs about and communicates BSEE technical programs, policies, and conclusions toother Federal, State, and local agencies, industry leads, and private groups/persons as the technical authority on marine biology and ecology.

6. Initiates and takes lead responsibility for the planning and conduct of coordination meetings, industry/public workshops, Information Transfer Meeting (ITM) sessions, and other conference work related to marine biology and ecology oversight. Represents BSEE and the OEC at professional meetings, and on task forces or committees involving Federal, State, or private agencies and individuals

This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Environmental Compliance Division - Atlantic Section, in either Sterling, VA or Hadley, Massachusetts. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a program lead performing archaeological and historic preservation for the ECD's Atlantic Region. The incumbent also serves as the Regional Federal Preservation Officer and supports the agency in environmental justice program issues.

At the full performance level (GS-13) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

1. The Regional Archeologist (Marine) is responsible for coordinating BSEE-approved activities, advocating legal requirements, and developing/interpreting/implementing policy regarding archaeology and historic preservation issues.

2. Serves as the archaeological resource management expert, pursuant to P.L. 96-515, acting as consultant, advisor, and technical authority to Department officials, the Deputy Director, Regional Directors, the Atlantic Regional Environmental Officer (REO), and other scientists and engineers in archaeological matters. 4. Prepares technical and policy documents concerning archaeological resource and anthropological data and information and expected minerals activities impacts for BSEE/BOEM correspondence, briefing material, and issues and option papers. Prepares highly specialized reports for use in decision-making by the Agency, or other Federal agencies, or as testimony before Congress.

5. The incumbent serves as an Atlantic Region Environmental Protection Specialist and is responsible for BSEE Atlantic Region environmental compliance through National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other federal environmental statutes and regulations, BSEE regulation, policy and guidance as well as provide advice on technical matters relating to offshore energy activities in theAtlantic OCS region.

1. This position reports directly to the Assistant Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the VA Northern California Healthcare System. The PM&R Pain is responsible for delivery of pain and rehabilitative care for outpatient PM&R Pain clinics including medication management and interventional management. This position is Pain Management, Opioid Safety and Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PMOP) funded position.

The principal duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides comprehensive pain and rehabilitation care to veterans through clinical evaluation and treatment within the outpatient Pain Program, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) clinics and inpatient care as needed.

13. Schedules pilots as to type, phase and degree of flying training required and scheduling individual pilots for extra flying hours when determined necessary.
14. Conducts a continuous and aggressive flying safety program and maintains a complete file on flying safety matters for the education of all assigned aircrew.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) involved in the removing, installing, troubleshooting, interrogating, overhauling, adjusting, testing, modifying, calibrating, and repairing of complex integrated aircraft pneudraulic systems and equipment on board conventional/nuclear certified aircraft supported by the organization and to provide
training to and evaluation of all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military as required in the accomplishment of duties set forth herein.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Conducts scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and periodic inspections on all pneudraulically operated systems on/off aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
Duty 2 - Performs troubleshooting of complex integrated pneudraulic systems of related on/off equipment for assigned and/or transient aircraft to include support equipment.
Duty 3 - Performs off-equipment maintenance and bench checks to support the repair cycle.
Duty 4 - Utilizes safety practices and tool control procedures to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Duty 5 - Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training for all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military.
