Duties and Responsibilities Clinical a) Undertaking patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use, through shared decision-making conversations with patients. b) Carrying out medicines optimisation tasks including effective medicine administration (e.g. checking inhaler technique), supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation. Where required, utilise consultation skills to work in partnership with patients to ensure they use their medicines effectively. c) As determined by the PCN, supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation for new care home patients and synchronising medicines for patient transfers between care settings, linking with local community pharmacists, and referring to the pharmacist for structured medication reviews. d) Providing specialist expertise, where competent, to address both the public health and social care needs of patients, including lifestyle advice, service information, and help in tackling local health inequalities. e) Taking a central role in the clinical aspects of shared care protocols and liaising with specialist pharmacists for more complex patients. f) Supporting initiatives for antimicrobial stewardship to reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescribing. Technical and Administrative: a) Working with the PCN multi-disciplinary team to ensure efficient medicines optimisation, including implementing efficient ordering and return processes and reducing wastage. b) Providing training and support on the legal, safe and secure handling of medicines, including the implementation of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). c) Developing relationships with other pharmacy technicians, pharmacists and members of the multi-disciplinary team to support integration of the pharmacy team across health and social care including primary care, community pharmacy, secondary care and mental health. d) Supervising practice reception teams in sorting and streaming general prescription requests, so as to allow GPs and clinical pharmacists to review the more clinically complex requests. e) Processing monthly PPA claims. The role will also require pharmacy technicians to support the implementation of national prescribing policies and guidance within GP practices, care homes and other primary care settings. This will be achieved through undertaking clinical audits (e.g. use of antibiotics), supporting quality improvement measures and contributing to the Quality and Outcomes Framework and enhanced services. In addition, pharmacy technicians will assist in the delivery of medicines optimisation incentive schemes (e.g. medicines switches) and patient safety audits. Pharmacy technicians will provide leadership for medicines management systems across PCNs, supporting practices with a range of services to get the best value from medicines by encouraging and implementing Electronic Prescriptions, safe repeat prescribing systems, and timely monitoring and management of high-risk medicines). Training requirements All pharmacy technicians must have completed or be enrolled in, be undertaking or be prepared to start an approved 18-month training pathway (e.g. Primary care pharmacy educational pathway (PCPEP) or Medicines Optimisation in Care Homes (MOCH)). Pharmacy technicians must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Entry to the PCPEP programme will include the option for an accreditation of Prior Learning (APEL) process. This is a substantive consultant child & adolescent psychiatrist post which has arisen due to a staff vacancy. It offers a unique opportunity to join an established and dynamic team of 5 Consultant Psychiatrists in Croydon CAMHS, within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be based within theCroydon CAMHS Treatment Team, which focuses on the provision of specific evidence based interventions including CBT, family therapy, IPT and medical interventions such as antidepressants and stimulant medications. The post will also include providing sessions to ARC (ADHD Medication Review Clinic).

The successful applicant will also join the SLaM consultant CAMHS on-call rota (see On-call Section of the Job Description).

This post includes 7.5 PAs of direct clinical activity with the Croydon CAMHS Treatment Team with 2.5 PAs of time.

This post benefits from2.5 PAs of structured professional activities, during which the post holder will contribute to service development, clinical governance and quality improvement, in addition to completing continuous professional development and pursuing other professional activities.

The whole Croydon CAMHS service is based within the community clinic at Christopher Wren House, 113 High Street, Croydon. The Treatment Team is a multidisciplinary team which offers specialist outpatient mental health services to children and young people aged 0-18 years who are registered with a Croydon GP and have moderate to severe mental health difficulties. The team is an MDT which includes psychiatry, psychology, nursing, family therapy and other disciplines.

This post involves consulting to care coordinators, direct clinical contact for diagnostic clarification, risk assessment, medication suitability etc. and follow ups. Attending the MDT meetings to contribute and oversee care planning in line with evidence based practice.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

The Role

Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of automation assets through completion of effective maintenance procedures.

- Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance

About you

As an experienced multi-skilled engineer you’ll be qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 – or equivalent). Understanding Health & Safety legislation, you’ll have first-hand experience of maintaining automation equipment, along with a flexible approach and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.

You are required to have a full UK driving licence as on occasion you may be asked to travel to other sites.
