We are looking for an enthusiastic Workforce Planning and Development Officer to work in the Organisational Learning and Development team. The role will focus on planning the delivery of learning and development activities across the council, schools, and children’s and adult’s social care settings.
You will identify development needs, plan learning activities and evaluate the outcomes, ensuring legal, ethical and regulatory responsibilities are met.
You will engage with a range of stakeholders to identify their workforce training needs and provide advice and guidance on activities to meet those needs. You will be responsible for commissioning training providers and suppliers and promoting training online and through social media.
This is your chance to make a real difference to people who work in Bolton in helping to improve our skills and the services we deliver.
About You

You should be resilient and flexible and enjoy working in complex and changing environments. You’ll also need to be highly organised and self-disciplined, with experience of project management and following commissioning processes.
