Outreach Support Worker - Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole
Full & Part-Time Positions available
£12.52 per hour + mileage allowance of 45p per mile.
Are you a people person? Do you enjoy helping people and making a difference to their life? Dimensions are seeking Outreach Support Workers to join the team working across Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.
Our Outreach Support Workers make a significant difference to the lives of the people we support. By spending anything from an hour to a few hours with them, we ensure that the people we support live independent lives in their own homes. The types of activities that Outreach Support Workers may support with include:
- Providing companionship
- Helping with correspondence
- Assisting with finances
- Trips to the supermarket or other shops
- Helping with tasks around the house
- Providing parenting support
As this role involves visiting people across the Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole region we require all Outreach Support Workers to be drivers with access to their own car.
The hours of work for this position are generally between 8am and 6pm but we may occasionally need Outreach Support Workers to work later if any of the people we support needs support for a specific later event.
Dimensions are happy to offer a payrate of £12.52 per hour for this role (we also pay a mileage allowance of 45p per mile for journeys made during your working day).
