This position is located in a National Guard JFHQ-State organization under the office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO/G6/J6). DUTIES

DUTIES

1. Motor Vehicle Operator: Operates a variety of vehicles and support units with up to 30-ton capacity (truck tractor w/full trailer, 5/6 ton flats and/or box truck w/forklift trailer, etc.) to transport a variety of ammunition, explosives, missiles, missile components and inert items. Will occasionally drive other types and sizes of vehicles when required by workload. Work situations within the confines of the installation, will require driving in congested industrial areas, various weight limits, multiple types of intersections, sharp curves, steep hills and rural type roadways and the demands of driving on public roads.

2. Material Handling: Loads and unloads cargo; segregates items according to condition code, lot number, quantity, compatibility, etc./ stores, stacks and palletizes items. Ensures proper storage practices performed/ assembles items for movement; selects items for issue or movement. Checks the condition of items before movement; re- warehouses high explosives, ammunition components, guided missiles, rockets, etc.

3. Packing: Selects appropriate methods of packing a material to be used in packing on the basis of class of items (classified according to shape, mounting provisions and resistance to shock). Check items received against the accompanying condition of packaging. Notes manner in which items should be wrapped and types of material to be used. Inspects seals and other protective material to insure material provide the protection.

Integrates Operational Risk Management (ORM) into all planned activities ensuring that all customers users of services are included and involved in implementation and planning. Utilizes appropriate Personal Safety Training and supplied Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when engaged in restoration and maintenance activities. Ensures all involved parties utilize PPE for the task appropriately. Contacts are both internal and external. Major duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Functioning as the coordinator of care for Veterans at suicide risk receiving care through the Battle Creek VAMC healthcare delivery system including its Outpatient Clinics. The SPC also serves as an advisor to the Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health, Mental Health Service Chiefs, facility leadership, program managers and other medical center staff concerning suicide prevention strategies for individual patients, for the facility and for the Veteran community as a whole in conjunction with the SPCs at the Wyoming Health Care Center and Battle Creek VAMC, and other members of the Suicide Prevention Team.

Specific functions of the SPC include, among others, identifying Veterans at risk for suicide, tracking appointments and coordinating enhanced care as needed, educating providers, Veterans, families, and members of the community about risk factors and warning signs for suicide, and identifying treatment options. This is accomplished through:

• Tracking all suicide attempts and patients with serious suicide ideation at each facility through the use of the "Suicide Behavior Report" progress note. The coordinator will implement the use of this template at each facility and be placed as a co-signer or additional signer on the template in order to be made aware of all attempts and patients with serious ideation.
• Ensuring that Suicide Behavior Flags are posted on the charts of relevant Veterans and monitoring the need for continued flagging.
• Assuring that all Veterans on the facility tracking list are being followed closely by the appropriate provider on a regular basis as determined by the coordinator and the provider.
• Tracking any no-show appointments by these patients and following up with the patient as soon as possible to reschedule the appointment.
• Following up with Veterans who have contacted the Veterans Crisis Line.
• Maintaining required databases and reports per the National Suicide Prevention Program.
• Preparing Heads Ups and Issue Briefs as needed.

• Assuring that all of these patients have a 24-hour resource number including the VCL to call and ways to get assistance if an immediate crisis should occur.
• Establishing an on-going Gatekeeper Training program with non-clinical frontline staff such as clerks and telephone operators to assure that they are aware of options for patients with whom they come in contact during crisis situations.
• Working with community resources such as VSO's and other community groups to assure that they are aware of how to recognize Veterans at risk for suicide and their options for getting these Veterans assistance.

DUTIES
1. Performs routine and nonroutine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops.

2. Responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy. Items are less stable or standardized and do not lend themselves to routine control through the use of the computer and variable supply level formulas. This position is located in the Directorate of Plans, Operations Training and Security (DPOTS) of an Army National Guard Garrison Training Center (GTC). The incumbent performs safety, range control and maintenance tasks.

DUTIES
1. Assists the Site Range Communication Officer in maintaining close coordination with the using units; as well as Commanders of other services and operations involved in the use of the range area. In this function, responsible for the enforcement of operational procedures jointly agreed to with other agencies when the assigned range officer is not available. Particular emphasis is given to range safety and control procedures to assure proper operational practices are observed. When required, oversees personnel assigned to the Site Range Operations and personnel of other governmental and civilian agencies to accomplish the range mission.

2. Responsible for repair and operations of range communications, including wire and cable facilities, range radio communications and avionics equipment. Responsible for range area maintenance activities to include assignment of repairmen to specific functions commensurate with their training; observes performance of subordinates, giving technical aid as required; insures conformance with prescribed standards of quality and safety; determines type end extent of repairs required to ranges and schedules repair work. Maintains close working relationship with the Site Engineer on materials and special equipment.

3. Plans workloads, schedules work assignments, establishes production end maintenance controls, improves operating procedures and repair techniques to effect range operations for using units. Directs the accomplishment of all administrative duties associated with ranges to include, but not
