• Leads and executes advanced open-source intelligence (OSINT) and financial intelligence (FININT) research and analysis to support Know-Your-Customer and compliance initiatives across the organization.

This position is responsible for conducting analyses of the geopolitical risk factors that impact legitimate flows of people and goods in relation to U.S. trade and security goals in the respective regions, and for developing and managing related technical assistant and capacity building programs. This position will serve as a CBP subject matter expert and liaison with the U.S. inter-agency for the assigned regions and an agency representative on policy discussions impacting the CBP mission and regional objectives.

This position starts at a salary of $139,395.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $181,216.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

Typical duties include:

• Utilizing your understanding of diplomatic, political, military, economic and significant developments within an assigned region, preparing reports and briefings, and responding to requests for information.
• Analyzing the geopolitical risk factors that impact legitimate flows of people and goods in relation to U. S. trade and security goals in the area(s) of responsibility.
• Developing, coordinating, and implementing the INA strategic communications and outreach activities within an assigned region.
• Serving as an agency representative in policy discussions impacting CBP's mission and regional objectives, to include participating in relevant meetings and conferences.
• Assisting in conducting oral and written briefings for the INA Assistant Commissioner (AC), Deputy AC and other CBP leaders on a variety of issues related to the assigned regions.

As a Program Coordinator your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Leads, manages, and coordinates a complex portfolio of internship programs and partnerships for the region, including but not limited to the Public Lands Corps (PLC) hiring authority and associated partner internships, Directorate Fellows Program (DFP), and Pathways Internship Program.
• Establishes strategic partnerships across all programs within the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), Tribal entities, and non-governmental partners for the purpose of representing the Service and connecting with non-governmental counterparts to establish administrative and recruitment relationships.

As a Supervisory Contract Specialist, you will:

• Represent the GSS in contracts and negotiations with contractors and their representatives to clarify and achieve agreement with respect to action to be taken on unusually controversial issues arising from major purchase transactions.
• Prepare and administer Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), task orders, and contracts for supplies and services IAW the FAR and GSA internal policies. Performs a range of managerial and programmatic roles
  in support of these acquisition efforts, focused upon providing technical direction and guidance to management, customers, industry, specifications, socio-economic concerns, and similar matters or unusual problems.
• Serve as a first level supervisor over a section of expert contracting and acquisition personnel.

The major duties of the Management and Program Analyst position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage projects that build relationships between NPS and stakeholder partners on Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) projects including government-to-government consultation responsibilities.
• Analyze and advise program managers and staff on concerns and opportunities related to LWCF projects.
• Promote collaboration and outreach with LWCF staff, Tribes, State partners.

The PAI receives administrative direction from management in terms of broadly defined missions or functions. The PAI, mostly independently plans, designs, and carries out programs, projects, studies, or other work. The PAI provides policy assistance to field level Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASIs) on difficult or complex policy interpretations. The work is normally accepted without change. Completed work may be reviewed for adherence to Federal aviation Administration (FAA) policy and for assurance that project requirements have been fulfilled.

Advises other inspectors of major changes in the operation of the aircraft; Standardizes procedures and judgments used by inspectors to evaluate the operation of the aircraft; Evaluates new training methods and equipment (e.g., simulators) for initial certification; Serves on national boards that determine the minimum equipment necessary to operate a particular type of aircraft safely; and Serves on boards that evaluate incidents, accidents, complaints, and other serious problems relating to the aircraft. As the principal representative in regulatory surveillance of air carrier activities, exercises certificate authority over a major air carrier with very extensive and complex avionics. Analyzes flight involving large fleets of turbojet aircraft engaged in large-scale passenger and freight service; or evaluates maintenance activities and complete aircraft overhaul facilities which are equipped and staffed to handle the latest and most sophisticated turbojet aircraft and associated systems. This level includes responsibility for nationally and internationally prominent carriers who operate the largest, most advanced fleets of turbojet aircraft in the industry

The PAI plans and directs the use of time and resources to accomplish organizational objectives.
