Position Summary
Tangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation (TCAC) is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Alice Springs Town Camps, urban Alice Springs, and Central Australia.
The Family Safety & Social Services (FSSS) Division includes a variety of programs, including the Domestic Violence Specialist Children?s Service (DVSCS), that address the social services needs of Aboriginal community members in the Town Camps and urban Alice Springs. A central aspect of the division is supporting children and their families who have experienced and responded to traumatic events in their lives.
The DVSCS is component of Tangentyere?s Family Violence Prevention Programs (FVPP). The FVPP is an integrated program with components designed to meet the needs of men, women, young people, and children who have been affected by domestic and family violence.
