The Hillingdon Hospital serves the local population of Hillingdon, playing an important role in the diagnosis of cancer, and treatment of common cancers. Accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and working in partnership with Clinical Directors and Divisional/ Lead Nurses, this post is responsible for operational delivery, operational performance, financial performance, governance, change, and business development across the Directorate. The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.

This role entails providing financial leadership to the divisional and local borough management teams, both in managing the short-term financial challenges and budget management responsibilities as well as supporting longer term financial planning. As an active member of the Trust Senior Finance Team, to develop insight into financial performance, including internal benchmarking and analysis tools, unit costing, service line reporting and the use of other analytic tools and to influence the overall Trust financial plan including the impact on the Division. The post holder will provide high level financial support to business cases for service developments and preparation of bids for new services, in line with Trust procedure, ensuring business cases are produced for investments utilising recognised investment appraisal techniques to recommend which option is most financially viable taking account of any risks, benefits and sensitivities. This is an onsite position in Bozeman, MT.

Position Summary: 

The System Director of Infrastructure & Technology is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure and operations for the organization. Overtight includes managing the technology systems, networks, servers, storage, and software used in the organization. Effectively manages daily operations of the Bozeman Health’s Information Technology and PACS departments that includes data center operations, technical services, desktop, engineering, network operations and help desk. Directs and approves the design of security systems and ensures that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested.  Reviews investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysts and recommendations to avoid future incidents.  Maintains a current understanding of threats and translates that knowledge into identifying risks and producing actionable plans to protect the business.  Updates the cyber security strategy and keeps management updated on status and risks.  Collaborating closely with the Chief Information Officer and other IT leadership to execute the technology roadmap in alignment with the overall strategic plan, the System Director will work hands-on with staff as needed to get the job done in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or 15 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry
• Ten (10) years of related experience with a majority of those years in an IT leadership role
• Strong working knowledge of Information Technology and Information Systems
• Preferred: Certification in one or more of the following: ITIL, Project Management, Process Improvement Methods, CISSP, hardware and software asset management

• Directs broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and healthcare system requirements.
• Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic operational planning, care and service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.
