We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable professional to join our team as the Associate Director, Portfolio Risk. As a Portfolio Risk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit management function of our lending portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including credit analysts, underwriters, and senior management, to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that align with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.

What you will do:

• Portfolio Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of our lending portfolio to identify potential vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement.
• Risk Management: Develop and maintain risk tools to monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks.
• Credit Policy Collaboration: Collaborate with the credit teams to improve maintain credit policies, guidelines, and underwriting standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor the portfolio's credit quality, delinquency rates, and other key credit risk indicators. Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.

• Stress Testing: Design and execute stress tests to evaluate the portfolio's resilience under adverse economic conditions and develop contingency plans.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in credit or risk management within the financial services or fintech industry.
• Strong knowledge on credit risk and portfolio management.
• Familiarity with Basel requirements and best practices in risk management.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills with ability to work across different departments
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

We are looking to appoint a Director of Franchising at Minor Hotels. This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, will be responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision and operational performance of our franchising division within Australia and New Zealand.

The Director of Franchising will play a crucial role in expanding Minor Hotels' footprint, ensuring alignment with our overall corporate objectives, and fostering successful partnerships with franchisees. This position demands a forward-thinking leader with a strong background in franchise management, business development, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry to propel our franchising efforts to new heights.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive franchise strategy for Minor Hotels in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives
• Monitor franchisee performance and profitability, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance and support to improve performance
• Build Franchising Operating Procedures, Metrics, Systems and Processes for Minor Hotels Brands in Australia and New Zealand
• Develop and execute franchisee training programs to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational best practices
• Work with franchise partners to open new franchise operations and manage changeovers as and when directed, providing assistance in the training of new and existing teams
• Work closely with franchise partners to develop a professional relationship to achieve desired results for all stakeholders

The Assistant Director of Sales is responsible for the planning and execution of strategic sales initiatives, overseeing department financials, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This role works closely with the Finance team and Director of Sales and marketing to align departmental goals with overall hotel targets, managing all group, transient, and catering sales activities to drive business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Reporting
o Prepare, implement, and compile data for the strategic sales plan, weekly, monthly reporting, annual goals, and sales budget, and produce forecasts and other required reports.
o Analyze monthly P&L and month-end reports to identify deviations from business goals and formulate corrective actions.
2. Financial Management
o Collaborate with Finance in preparing and managing the department’s budget and financial forecasts.
o Participate in management meetings to discuss progress towards business goals and develop annual business plans for the department.
3. Team Management & Leadership
o Conduct daily briefings with the sales team to communicate current key activities and objectives.
o Identify and develop high-potential team members, conduct performance reviews, manage performance issues, and maintain team motivation and professionalism.
4. Sales & Revenue Generation
o Direct all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize hotel revenue.
o Analyze competitive trends, customer feedback, and market changes to adapt sales strategies proactively.
5. Marketing & Public Relations
o Oversee all advertising, PR, and promotional activities in conjunction with corporate marketing.
