Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading the development and evaluation of comprehensive image-building, awareness-building, and promotional programs, as well as overseeing strategic communication initiatives across the company, regions, and industries. The role also serves as a communications consultant, establishes key performance metrics, manages functional budgets, and drives cross-functional coordination for successful communication programs. Additionally, the role includes contributing innovative ideas, leading large cross-functional teams, acting as a functional manager, and providing mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees to support operational and strategic plans.
Responsibilities
• Leads development and evaluation of key image-building, awareness building and/or promotional and demand generation programs and contact strategies across audiences, industries, sales channels, or businesses in direct support of revenue targets.
• Leads strategic and integrated communications initiatives for the company, worldwide business group or across a region.
• Develops and drives a coordinated reference selling process across a business, industry or geography that has field and management backing.
• Serves as communications consultant and strategist for assigned business.
• Establishes, tracks, measures and reports business group or country measurements of success like calls, clicks, leads, revenue, etc.
• Manages functional budgets, ensuring they stay within estimated limits and selects, manages, and motivates agency and/or contractor management.
• Oversees and drives coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of communication programs.
• Contributes innovative ideas and leads large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
• Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise, developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus, ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in direct marketing, communications, or a related field.
