Job Title: Paint Shop Manager
Location: Pershore
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Overview:
As the Paint Shop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the paint department, ensuring that schedules are efficient, quality standards are maintained, and performance targets are met. Your role will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and motivating your team to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
Oversee scheduling to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to internal processes.
Manage daily performance, ensuring KPIs are met and resources are used effectively.
Ensure staff are properly trained and maintain high standards of performance.
Maintain up-to-date records and liaise with other departments on customer queries.
Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and ensure compliance across the department.
Drive continuous improvement and motivate the team to deliver high-quality results.
Conduct quality checks before dispatch and resolve defects as needed.

Requirements:
Experience in paint spraying and powder coating.

-Overarching management and line management of ICP Estimating team, ensuring tenders are completed on time and customer expectations are met.

-Overarching management of ICP Design function, ensuring designs are completed on time, to DNO/IDNO standards and customer expectations are met.

-Overarching management and line management of ICP Project Management team, ensuring projects are delivered, on time, in budget and in line customer expectations.

This hybrid role involves assisting in pre-contracts and tendering, as well as managing secured contracts. Key responsibilities include project planning, programming, obtaining quotes, issuing orders, site visits, overseeing installations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
What you'll need to succeed

• Over 3 years of experience in HVAC project management.
• Preferable design skills, including heat load calculations and proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Air Conditioning systems (VRV, Splits, Close Control, Chilled Water Systems), Mechanical Ventilation Systems, Plumbing, boiler and heating works, and BMS Systems.
• Strong contract management skills, including quoting, estimation, and maintaining contract files.
• Ability to produce Method and Risk Assessments, Operational and Maintenance Manuals, and Health & Safety Files.
