Position Overview

Provide exceptional client service,
operating as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager, performing
operational and transactional functions, handling client service issues,
issuing approvals for desk transactions as well as opening and closing the
store. The Sales Lead will refer all duties which require managerial experience
and/or approval to the Store Manager (e.g. disciplinary action, hiring, and
terminating associates).

Responsibilities

• Leveraging tools, assessing and taking action to drive operational excellence through Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through scheduling appropriately
• Complete daily tasks to ensure store runs smoothly and meets all ANN INC. standards and guidelines
• Reports to work as scheduled; records time worked accurately by using ANN INC.’s Time and Attendance system; remains flexible to the needs of the business
• Embraces fashion, understands current market trends and is able to articulate them using ANN INC. interpretations in every client interaction. Represents the brand by adhering to ANN INC.’s dress code guidelines

Qualifications

Position Description: 
Responsible for the oversight, leadership and achievement for the sales floor and obtaining set sales goals for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) in Arizona and Maryland. Directs all aspects relating to the daily operations of the sales floor, leading the team and driving the business.  Key responsibilities include building, leading, and retaining motivated, high performing teams through effective leadership of Retail Sales Associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for profit, revenue, and production for a Retail Store location.
• Makes decisions on matters relating to the day-to-day retail operation within his/her defined work area.
• Conducts new goods inventory and ensures proper reporting.
• Reconciles and balances all daily paperwork.

GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Financial Center Manager will participate in a comprehensive, customized on-boarding and education program.  This includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred and Sales & Operations Management. The role will provide a robust learning approach for successful candidates to prepare for a Financial Center Manager role. Qualifications

• Strong communication, supervisory and customer service skills

• 6 months – 1 year specialty retail experience; selling environment preferred

• Prior management experience preferred

• Technology proficient and strong business acumen

• Works a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English;  other languages desirable

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required
   

Position requires associates to:

• Constantly move throughout the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, complete floor sets, unpack and replenish stock and complete other tasks; frequently involves prolonged pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching and may involve tight or confined spaces

• Frequently operate computerized register system

• Respond in person to occasional, unscheduled store banking requirements and store alarms

• Adjust or move objects (garment racks, mannequins, etc.) or merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions on a frequent basis; may need to adjust or move objects or merchandise weighing as much as 50 pounds in all directions on occasion and with assistance as available

• Retrieve merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level on a frequent basis, which may include climbing an 8-foot ladder; may need to replace overhead lightbulbs, signs, etc. on an occasional basis using an 8-foot ladder

• Constantly interact with and assist coworkers and clients and other members of the public​
