Operational Intelligence Space and Counterspace Analyst, Senior
The Opportunity:

As a Space and Counter-Space Analyst, you use your specialized analytical and technical experience and your attention to detail to develop analytic assessments and reports to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our space operations client.
As a Space and Counter-Space Analyst on our team, you’ll provide analysis and production of foreign space capabilities on various topics, but not limited to, adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space-related technologies. You’ll also work with engineers and scientists researching foreign space and counter space forces, activities and capabilities concerning civilian and military organizations, order of battle, command structures, facilities, leadership, weapon systems disposition and readiness. You’ll assess foreign space and counter-space tactics, techniques and procedures related to training, exercises, and real-world operations to develop, coordinate, refine and execute USSPACECOM counter-space warning problems and associated indicators. You’ll grow your analytic techniques through collaboration with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to grow your expertise, learn new skills and tools, and share your methodologies with other analysts. You Have:
- 3 years of experience with all-source intelligence analysis and production
- Experience with writing comprehensive intelligence assessments, information papers, and presentations
- Experience with using Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), or Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) information for tactical, operational, and strategic analyses
- Experience with JWICS intelligence research tools
- Knowledge of foreign threats to U.S. space operations
- Knowledge of DIA Writing Style Guide
- Ability to adhere to Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) tradecraft
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- 8+ years of experience as an intelligence analyst
- 2+ years of experience as an analyst supporting space and counterspace warfare operations
- Experience in the US Intelligence Community (IC) in a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command or an IC agency
- Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to planners and policy makers
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Certified Defense All-Source Analysis Levels I and II or Intelligence Fundamentals Professional (IFPC) Certification
- Space 100, 200, or 300 Certification or a commercial equivalent
- Space Intelligence Fundamentals Course or a commercial equivalent

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
