Role Summary:

The Demand Planner is responsible for support of demand management for our Automation & Control Valve business unit. The primary focus is on developing unit-level booking forecasts at the product family and material levels, as part of the SIOP framework. This enables operations to plan resource and material requirements to manage inventory and improve on-time delivery. This position will work with the commercial teams to implement forecasting methodologies, understand market trends, plan for new product introductions, and determine anticipated demand across product lines and manufacturing locations.

Essential responsibilities:

• Generate demand forecast, analyze statistical data, recommend solutions, and conduct monthly demand forecast maintenance.

• Analyze trends, maintain and report on forecast accuracy KPIs.

• Drive a high degree of data integrity within ERP’s.

• Drive urgency and escalate issues that are foreseen to disrupt to the forecast.

• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts compared to financial plan.

• Facilitate and support Demand Consensus meetings (sales, product management, etc.).

• Ensure processes are consistent with company objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements:

SUMMARY:

This position will supply managerial oversight of the manufacturing facility production function to include control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing.   This position will be responsible for the daily safety of the associated team.  The position must be able to effectively manage through stressful situations, and consistently make effective data driven decisions.  This position will be responsible for coordinating off-shift allocation of resources to ensure schedule adherence and customer service accountability.  Direct supervision of hourly manufacturing 20 to 35 FTE’s will be required at times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct air quality analyses, assess regulatory compliance, and perform regulatory applicability evaluations.
• Develop complete and accurate air quality permits for Title V, Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), and New Source Review compliance. Interact with local regulators to steward permit application review and issuance.
• Prepare emission inventory reports; quantify air pollutant emissions and impacts.
• Evaluate air pollution control technologies, including technical and economic feasibility of air pollution control equipment.
• Implement climate change projects, such as greenhouse gas inventories, emission reductions, energy efficiency, public disclosure and verification.
• Assist clients with Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) compliance programs.
• Prepare recommendations and reporting of results.
• Perform multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
• Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients, ERM employees, and subcontractors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in chemical, or environmental, engineering or BS in environmental or related sciences; MS preferred but not mandatory. At least 5 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of direct consulting or industry experience involving environmental permitting and compliance. Experience with air quality construction permits and Title V permitting; PSD, NSR, Best Available Control Technology (BACT), and/or MACT experience a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of air emissions and emission reporting processes.
• Strong hands-on spreadsheet and database comprehension.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.

This position is with the Qualitative Model Validation team and is part of the Model Risk Management (MRM) group, which resides in the Risk organization. The Qualitative Model Validation team is responsible for reviewing and assessing qualitative models as part of Citi’s Model Risk Management framework. The main objectives are to ensure that qualitative models are used appropriately by the business and that model users are aware of the models’ limitations and weaknesses that should be mitigated by compensating controls. A qualitative model is a model whose output is largely or entirely dependent upon key assumptions which are primarily qualitative in nature (but may have quantitative components, e.g., models that are partially based on expert judgment or other qualitative evidence.) Qualitative models are held to the same high standard as all models at Citi, and are guided by the same principles outlined in supervisory guidance letter SR 11-7.

Key Activities include:

Performing independent validation of qualitative models across the firm, in line with the Citi Model Risk Management Policy and Procedures. This includes:

• Critically reviewing the appropriateness of a Qualitative Model versus alternative quantitative approaches with respect to the modeling objective and the available model development data.
• Producing high value models validation reports, including highlighting risks and limitations of the model.
• Evaluating the developmental testing approach and results for individual models in accordance with MRM guidance.
• Assessing the ongoing performance monitoring of the models.
• Contributing to regulatory and internal audit related responses.
• Collaborating with other teams within Risk and the Business regarding qualitative models to facilitate compliance with our policies, procedures, and guidance.
• Assisting with preparing the reports and other meeting materials to MRM senior management.
• Supporting the process of designing, developing, delivering and maintaining best-in-class qualitative model validation process standards, guidance, practices, templates, and other documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’ degree in Finance, Economics, or other quantitative discipline (statistics, quantitative finance, econometrics, etc.). Masters’ degree or above is preferred.
• 3 years of experience / knowledge of Banking, Treasury, Finance / Risk management preferred. However, talented candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered.
• Demonstrate excellent partnership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to clearly and concisely formulate findings in a written form and good verbal communication skills.
• Good analytic, creative thinking, and problem solving abilities.
• Adept and meticulous at analysis and documentation of results.

• Collaborate and communicate with agents, policyholders and internal stakeholders on claims of medium complexity/severity and book of business.
• Investigate losses, identify coverage, determine compensability, review and analyze documents and legal pleadings.

• Establish and maintain proper reserves for each claim to accurately reflect the financial exposure.

• Collaborate with counsel to manage litigated claims.
• Review and interpret commercial insurance policies and accordingly communicate coverage issues verbally and in writing.

• AIC or SLA certification preferred.

Reporting to the Corporate Procurement Lead this role oversees and performs the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with procuring of goods and/or services in support of various corporate functional areas.

The individual works within a small team with minimal supervision to:

• Contribute to the development of contracting strategies and advise internal customers on path to maximize the value of business objectives

Market, evaluate, underwrite and price products and services independently within Amerisure target classes of business.  Serve as the underwriter and relationship manager for assigned agencies or territory.  With limited oversight, make underwriting decisions consistent with Amerisure's appetite and lead relationship management activities such as business planning and execution, profit improvement activities.  Demonstrates effective sales and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Market, evaluate, and price products and services within Amerisure target classes of business.

• Develop and implement business plans for achieving established operational plan targets for written premium, loss ratio, product retention, pricing and coordination of service.

• Conduct agency visits and facilitate communication between producer, support staff and Amerisure service partners, to ensure achievement of quality and service objectives.

• Lead service team to support and advance PFS strategy, ensuring adherence to the service model and promoting a strong customer service focus. 

• Support other underwriters in servicing assigned agents, providing seamless underwriting expertise, and ensuring that established service and quality standards are maintained.                                                                                       

• Manage the development of the agency relationship, including procuring new business or expanding existing business, negotiating renewals, relationship building, etc.
