CCP is excited to have been awarded a new contract from Gloucestershire County Council, to provide support and accommodation to
refugees who have been granted leave to remain by the Home Office. As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide vital support to
refugees living in our supported accommodation building in Abbeydale, Gloucester. This is a full-time position working 12.25 hour
shifts, in our Accommodation Based Services team.




In this role, you will provide vital practical and emotional support to residents, promoting their independence through
trauma-informed care and strong relationships. You will host group and individual training sessions, connecting residents to
broader support networks.




You will tackle language barriers by improving residents' English skills, collaborating with ESOL and Adult Education programs.
Collaboration with various agencies will address cultural awareness, domestic abuse, housing, health, and substance abuse
sensitively.




Given the temporary nature of the accommodation, your focus will be ensuring residents are ready to move on within a three-month
timeframe. You will enhance their independent living skills, help access benefits, foster community engagement, aid employment
searches, and identify housing opportunities.




As a Senior you'll assist in the recruitment, selection and induction of new members of the team focusing on supervisions,
appraisals, and other quality measures.




To excel, you will need patience, kindness, resilience, and professionalism, and proficiency in English, ideally along with either
Persian, Arabic, Kurdish, Albanian, Tigrinya, Vietnamese, or other refugee language skills.

The Role

The Design Authority (DA), as part of the licensee organisation, is responsible for developing the nuclear safety case and maintaining its integrity throughout the full lifecycle of the nuclear power plant.
As an experienced Safety Case Engineer working in a new build Design Authority (HPC or SZC), you will play an important role in the development and maintenance of the safety case. You will provide technical leadership in resolving challenging issues to support the construction, commissioning and the safe operation of the Nuclear Power Plant. You will have opportunities to gain experience and work in a variety of different aspects of the safety case from developing the main Safety Report through to safety justifications to support modifications. In your role you will be supported by and need to engage with a variety of disciplines within the wider organisation (Nuclear Analysis, Pressurised Water Reactor Technology, Construction, Commissioning and Operations), while also working with OEM designers/suppliers and internal/external regulators.
In our Nuclear Generation business safety case engineers are responsible for maintenance of the safety cases supporting normal operations and fault scenarios during the generation and defueling phases of operation. You will provide technical leadership to define and deliver safety case requirements to ensure compliance within a regulated environment. You will have opportunities to develop skills across a wide range of technical and plant engineering disciplines, through completion of planned work and providing support to address emergent challenges.

- The ability to understand a broad range of technical analysis, identify and lead pragmatic solutions as well as challenge current strategies and integrate technical knowledge into clear, concise and coherent information;
- Someone who thrives in working in high profile, dynamic, time critical projects with the ability to identify and focus on resolving key issues and able to hold a technical position in a challenging environment;
- Someone with excellent organisation skills, who can work autonomously and works well in teams.

The Senior Technician position requires your talent and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using your leadership and mentoring skills in driving a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.

• Diagnose and repair to specifications.
• Brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals. • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.

Improving quality and developing practice 1. To work as a specialist practitioner in the clinical area utilising theoretical knowledge, clinical experience and clinical reasoning skills and techniques to assess, diagnose, plan and offer a range of treatment options; deliver, evaluate and amend the treatment plan. To contribute to the Clinical Governance and Quality agenda by active participation in service initiatives, health and safety and risk management. 5. To participate in the out of hours service at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and/or Cheltenham General Hospital after appropriate induction and training as required. (When performing on call duties, staff must be available on the ward within 45 minutes of the call. For staff living more than 45 minutes from the hospital, a designated on-call room for overnight stay is available in GRH and is free of charge. This room can be used by staff at both sites.) 6. To comply with Trust and Departmental policies and procedures e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), Manual Handling, clinical equipment competency, risk management, Data Protection Acts and patient confidentiality at all times. To consolidate and learn new skills and competencies to provide holistic care using the Therapy Competency Framework. To develop clinical reasoning and treatment techniques through the active participation in training and development. To consolidate knowledge and skills learned through this process with the direction of senior staff, and deliver research based presentations as part of in-service training. This will involve facilitating own learning opportunities, reflecting on practice and learning through this process 2. To participate in the supervision, caseload monitoring and clinical education of junior therapists, support workers and undergraduate students. Providing support, guidance, training, and assessing and evaluating competence, in order to fulfil clinical governance requirements and retain a skilled workforce. To participate in the undergraduate education process, as a clinical educator for undergraduates from the University of the Gloucestershire or other universities. This involves the assessment of students competency to practice and contributes to their BSc honours award in the defined profession. Joining the Nuclear part of the Generation Legal team, you will lead the charge in steering the business through significant legal matters, including:
