Senior Accountant
Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Location: Reigate, Surrey (Hybrid Working - option to work 2 days a week from home)

We are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant
Overview
- New position created due to the expansion and growth of the organisation.
- Working in a team of 8 reporting to the Financial Controller
- Organisation turnover of 20 million with 40 sites and multiple cost centres
- Ownership of the role to support and enhance the department.
Job Specification
- To assist in preparation of income and expenditure data and reports and monitor spend against budget.
- To lead in the billing of services to the funding bodies, ensuring the timely processing of billing, and prepare and maintain reconciliations thereon.
- Analyse financial information to support better financial understanding across the organisation.
- Assist with the provision of clear financial information, advice, KPIs, and analysis.
- Liaise regularly with Budget Holders, providing information is in an accessible format.
- Support with the budget setting process across the organisation and accurately reforecast tasked areas on a monthly basis
- Build and maintain significant relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) and ensure efficient communication between relevant parties.
- Support with making process and system improvements where necessary as the organisation grows.
- Support with the payroll functionality of the organisation.
- Support with improving policies and systems to better meet the organisational objectives.
