Your new company
You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor working on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they are currently working on clean water and wastewater schemes valued up to £6m. This contractor offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development and due to continued success and accelerated growth, they are looking to onboard a Senior Estimator to join their team.
Your new role
As Senior Estimator you will be based at their Derby office and be responsible for, but not limited to, preparing tenders and estimates, maintaining and updating tender records, assisting with the approvals process, identifying risks and opportunities during the tender process as well as conducting site visits.
What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will be able to estimate from first principles and be well-versed with NEC form of contracts and CDM regulations. In addition, you will have previous experience within the water and/or utilities sectors, ideally working on large design and build infrastructure contracts, and be able to communicate effectively with senior management. Finally, you will have previous experience producing high-value and high-quality tender submissions.
