About the Role
Rochdale Borough Council delivers a wide range of services for children and their families. A centralised ICT Data and Monitoring Team is in place to assist teams in the collection, analysis and dissemination of information around early years and education data using a corporate information management system.
The currently postholder will be going on maternity leave so this is an exciting opportunity to join this team to assist the Data Monitoring and Returns Manager in the management, development and coordination of all the Data collection systems and Data Returns requirements of Children’s services internal requirements, schools data and statutory returns including requirements for Local, Regional and National initiatives.
Some of the main areas of work will also include: assisting the Data Monitoring and Returns Manager in maintaining the quality of data within the management system and working with teams across the service to ensure continuous provision of good quality data, also to assist with the production of performance management reports for Managers within the service using excellent analytical and presentation skills. To also assist with the statutory requirements from the DfE in respect of termly Pupil Census and annual School Workforce Census and the Alternative Provision Census returns
About you
The postholder will also support with the accurate inputting of all monitoring of activities within the Rochdale Family Hubs including the inputting of personal information of registered families.
This post is key to being able to provide quantitative information to demonstrate that outcomes for children and their families have been met. This is an exciting opportunity and would be ideal for someone who is self-motivated and who has an enthusiasm for data and statistics and who can demonstrate high levels of accuracy when inputting whilst working to tight deadlines.

This is a temporary contract for approximately 12 months to cover for maternity leave.
