This is a full time opportunity for an individual who has an aspiration to provide patient care by ensuring that our patients get the right medicine at the right time. This role will involve working in an acute hospital setting, liaising with clinicians and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust Pharmacy Department are currently recruiting for a self-motivated individual to join our Intermediate Dispensing Pharmacy Assistant cohort. Offering a unique training opportunity within the Dispensary, in an acute hospital pharmacy based at Kings Mill Hospital.
You will undertake a one year placement which incorporates both day release for virtual College attendance and on-the job learning and experience to gain a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Apprenticeship. Due to the number of hours required to complete the course, you will be required to undertake work at home. This will be a minimum of 10 hours per month. You will need to meet the following essential qualifications:
4 GCSEs or equivalent including Grade D/3 or above and they must include Maths and English Language. (Certificates are required)
