Duties:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide specialized and expert administrative patient support while working collaboratively in an inter-professional coordinated care delivery model.
• Work involves specialized administrative judgment and the flexible use of a wide range of clinical flow processes relating to access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and/or care in the community resources.
• Work collaboratively with VISN programs, services, and inter-professional coordinated care team members to provide access to care and meet the need of Veterans via various available contact modalities to include but not limited to telephone calls, secure messaging, chat, text messaging and video.
• The AMSA is responsible for answering telephones, secure messaging and chat messages, relaying messages to appropriate staff inside or outside of the VISN CCC, scheduling appointments, interpreting and verifying provider orders in accordance with VHA national scheduling guidelines.
• Maintain effective and efficient communication with the patient, inter-professional care delivery teams and VA medical centers.
• Scheduling, canceling, re-scheduling patient appointments; entering no-show information; monitoring appointment requests for multiple electronic sources; monitoring outpatient appointments in areas of responsibility.
• Gathering and obtaining medical information from patients; processing medication refill request.
• Reviewing electronic health record, obtaining medical records, participating in huddles with other MSAs and/or VISN CCC staff to determine the daily needs of the VISN CCC.
• Verifying and updating demographics when contacted by patients.
• Manage patient systems to verify and validate accuracy and resolve issues; evaluates patient information and clinic schedule lists; informs inter-professional team members about shared patients.
• Provide information and resolution to Veterans' requests within scope, uses administrative judgement to escalate symptomatic concerns to clinicians with the VISN CCC or directs the contact to the appropriate discipline within the CCC or department for resolution.
• Provide accurate detail of organizational information to Veterans regarding the different services the VA offers.
• Provide high-quality customer service to Veterans and their families/caregivers.
• Communicate tactfully and effectively to challenging customers who may be threatening, abusive, or distraught.

The RSPB, in conjunction with BTO and Natural England, are running national surveys of the three key lowland heathland species in 2025 – Nightjar, Woodlark and Dartford Warbler.
We are looking to recruit four Research Assistants, on six-month contracts (from early February to the end of July) to undertake fieldwork for these surveys at various sites (primarily in England). What's the role about?
These posts require experience of conducting fieldwork on lowland heathland, moorland and in conifer plantations, by 1km-square. The post holders should have a good knowledge of the ecology of Nightjars, Woodlarks and Dartford Warblers and should be able to ensure the smooth running of the surveys by dealing diplomatically with all interested parties. Fieldwork will involve long and unsociable hours in the field and will be physically demanding over the contract period. Extensive travel to different sites may also be required. Applicants must be able to regularly travel to, from and within remote locations not served by public transport. If work from a home base is not possible the post holder will be responsible for finding their own accommodation, although the RSPB will be able to contribute towards costs. The successful candidates will be allocated to survey priority sites for each of the species, mainly in southern England, where additional coverage is needed. The surveys will follow the standard national survey methods for each species, with the following survey periods for each species: Woodlark - mid February to late May (2 visits to each square); Dartford Warbler - early April to late June (2 visits); Nightjar - June and July (2 visits). Additionally, surveyors will be asked to record numbers (or absence) of the other species listed in the JNCC heathland bird assemblage. The fieldwork will include a combination of early mornings, and survey work around dawn and dusk.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for planning, programming, coordinating, supervising, managing, directing and/or reviewing all activities for their assigned area of responsibility. Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust Pharmacy Department are currently recruiting for a self-motivated individual to join our Intermediate Dispensing Pharmacy Assistant cohort. Offering a unique training opportunity within the Dispensary, in an acute hospital pharmacy based at Kings Mill Hospital.

You will undertake a one year placement which incorporates both day release for virtual College attendance and on-the job learning and experience to gain a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Apprenticeship. Due to the number of hours required to complete the course, you will be required to undertake work at home. This will be a minimum of 10 hours per month. You will need to meet the following essential qualifications:

4 GCSEs or equivalent including Grade D/3 or above and they must include Maths and English Language. (Certificates are required)
