Summary/Objective:The Test Engineer is responsible for supporting HDR (High Data Rate) Cable Assembly Work Center for all Cable Electrical Testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design Test Tooling assemblies for Electrical Test First Time Build of cable assemblies.
• Review the design of printed circuit boards and fixtures for Electrical Test of First Time Build of HDR cable product and feedback findings to designer.
• Create Process Documentation for Electrical Test processes.
• Create and qualify Test Programs for Electrical Test. 
• Cooperate with SIG ATG to assemble, debug, qualify new Test Systems.
• Support production floor for troubleshooting Low and High-Speed Test systems.
• Perform failure analysis of Electrical Test failed product and determine root cause with support from Global Samtec teams.
• Cooperate with global Samtec teams to maintain Samtec HDR product serialization system.
• Part number creation and configuration in Samtec serialization and tracking software.
• Cooperate with control engineer, process engineer, manufacturing engineer for transfer project & sustaining improvement project on Electrical Test side.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.
• Any other job related duties as assigned by management.

Requirement:

• Above 2 years related working experience on PCB board design.
• Familiar with LSET, HSET, signal integrity test. 
• Experience in engineering design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc). 
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process is a plus.
• Experience in creating and maintaining serialization scripting.
• Must have knowledge in LSET, HSET, signal integrity test
• Strong interpersonal, technical, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.

Responsible

• Monitor overall QAQC section operation.
• Ensure that quality objectives and product performance are consistently met through monitoring.
• Ensure company’s safety rules & regulations are being followed.
• Manage and improve quality assurance processes in manufacturing.
• Maintain test equipment operational include set-up.
• Participate in ISO internal audit team to ensure the management system are in good shape.
• Handle internal and external audits and prepare detailed reports.
• Develop and maintain a systematic approach for SOPs and records.
• Response to Japanese customer’s request.
• Handle and resolve customers’ quality related complaint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems.

Requirement

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering

At least 2 years working experience as QC or QA in related manufacturing company

Language : Japanese N2 in speaking (no need cert) and English.
