The duties and responsibilities for a Staff Assistant generally include, but are not limited to, the following

This position is located in the Operational Services Bureau, Special Operations Division (SOD), United States Capitol Police (USCP).  Serves as an Operations Support Assistant at the Division level within a Bureau or an Office. Performs a broad range of technical and administrative office support work and services to support sworn and civilian staff. Provides human resources support services, automation/computer support, records maintenance, report/information consolidation and similar functions.  Performs a range of support operational activities including monitoring and analyzing workflow issues and projects in consultation with supervisors and/or senior officials. Performs other official duties as assigned.
