The role will predominantly be based at the local Walton community diagnostic centre (CDC) however successful candidates will be expected to also work within the main Cardio-Respiratory department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital when required.

This role will include performing 12 Lead ECG's, fitting, and downloading of both ambulatory ECG monitors and ambulatory BP monitors.

Esteem North Academy is seeking flexible, committed, enthusiastic and highly skilled STLAs to assist either permanently excluded pupils, or those at risk of exclusion, with learning and engagement at our Chesterfield secondary sites. All successful candidates are likely to begin at the Hasland site until the new site is ready to open. Some staff will remain at Hasland and some will move to the new site.

The academy provides statutory education to children who are at risk of, or have been, permanently excluded. Pupils who attend the academy have challenging and often complex needs, and exhibit behaviours that prevent them from attending a mainstream school. You will be allocated to a tutor group. The role will involve supporting pupils in lessons to engage in their learning and supporting pupils at break and lunch times. This role will involve working with small groups, or with pupils on a one to one basis to meet their needs as directed by the class teacher or site lead. Classes are small with approximately 10 pupils. This new site will open with a new staffing team and therefore your ability to cooperate as a team player is essential. You will be involved with the setting up and opening of the new site. The new site may house approximately 100 pupils over time.

The role will involve supporting pupils in lessons to engage in their learning and supporting pupils at break and lunch times. This role will involve working with small groups, or with pupils on a one to one basis to meet their needs as directed by the class teacher or site lead. Classes are small with approximately 2 to 7 pupils. There may be some daily home tuition when this is required to meet pupils needs.
