The post holder will provide direct personal nursing care, primarily in the patients home and on occasions in other settings such as Community Hospitals, Residential and Nursing homes and Eden Valley Hospice. The post holder will provide practical nursing care, emotional, social and psychological support to individuals with palliative care needs, their families and carers. This role involves regular and extended involvement with the stress of caring for dying patients and their families.
