Due to further expansion and development of these leisure services, we are looking to recruit the following position to complement our existing staffing across East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust.

These post are for the new Allander Leisure Centre and Adult Resource Centre which opened in early 2023.

The cleaning of Leisure Services facilities, to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

Leisure Assistant (£24,018.29– £26,217.56 pro rata ) - Permanent

1 x Part time Post (14 hours), Allander Leisure Centre

To undertake a range of duties in wet, dry and other areas which will include cleaning, control of facilities and assembling and dismantling of equipment. Applicants must either possess a current RLSS/STA National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or be able to obtain the qualification before the post can commence.

Job Summary

Salary will be pro-rated for part-time and term-time hours.

Please note that this position is temporary.

Work pattern - Monday – Friday,10.30 am – 4 pm.

Working in Boclair Academy you will assist the school with various non-teaching duties including administration, preparation of teaching materials and supervision of pupils during intervals and lunch time.

Under the direction of the School Support Manager you will provide support to various subject Departments and provide assistance for whole school activities to help with curriculum delivery.

In order to support the welfare of pupils you will administer first aid when required. In line with school requirements, you will also assist with reading/scribing duties as required during examination times.

You should be literate, numerate, able to work as part of a team and possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills.
