We are seeking enthusiastic, radiographers wanting to train in mammography to join our friendly and dedicated Breast Imaging Team in the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust.
The Breast Unit is a busy department working within both the National Breast Screening service and a Symptomatic Breast service. The ability to work both in a team and independently, and to communicate in a wide variety of settings, is essential.
The Newcastle Breast Screening Service delivers a screening service to a large rural area therefore a current driving licence and access to a car is essential.
Applicants for the above posts must hold a degree in Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiography, be HCPC registered and have working knowledge of NHS policies and procedures. Applications will also be considered from qualified radiographers who are passionate about breast radiography and would like to train and complete the PGCert in Mammography.
