CLINICAL Undertake psychological assessment of patients referred to the service. The Role In this role, you will provide Low Intensity CBT-based interventions whilst undertaking the PGCert Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner delivered by the University of Lincoln commencing in March 2024. This training post will equip you with the skills and knowledge to provide evidence-based treatment to clients with a range of common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. You will be joining a motivated team of mental health professionals and experienced supervisors, who will support you to complete both your academic study and your clinical delivery. This is a permanent position with a start date of March 2024. A typical working week includes three days of clinical practice with the service, one day attending university and one study day. University days will be hybrid training with a combination of remote and face-to-face teaching. Whilst your clinical practice is likely to include some remote working, you will be required to attend one of the Nottingham offices for part of the week. Getting to know you The University of Lincoln offers two levels of academic training for PWPs: Undergraduate Practice Certificate (Level 6 for candidates who do not have a prior degree) and a Postgraduate Certificate (Level 7 for candidates who have a prior degree). The clinical work during the CYP IAPT training involves being part of a multi-disciplinary CAMHS team where you will carry a caseload of systemic cases during training and will access weekly systemic supervision. On successful completion of the CYP IAPT training you will work full time as a CAMHS practitioner within CAMHS and will have a generic caseload. You will be supported in continuing to work systemically but will also be expected to be able to provide CAMHS assessments and provide other evidence based therapeutic interventions individual and group based. Please note that in this instance the training is not optional and there will be a joint interview process with the University of Northampton to appoint to this role and the role is dependent on meeting all course requirements. All applicants will need to be available to start working for LPFT CAMHS in January and will need to attend LPFTs mandatory induction training. The formal training with Northampton University will start in February 2023 with a minimum of 2 days per week attendance initially. Please note the following HEE funding policy applies to this post:- The 2-year Psychological Professions Funding Rule The 2-year psychological professions funding rule is based on the principle that once an individual has commenced an NHS-funded psychological professions training programme, a 2- year period will be required to pass from the expected completion date of that training before the funded individual would be eligible for further NHS funding to train in another psychological profession training (where this leads to a change of occupation). Notes: 1. The 2-year timeframe is taken from the date of the qualifying exam board (or the date individual award is formally recommended by chairs action post-exam board) of one course to the start date for teaching of the next course to be undertaken. 2. The rule applies to any individual who starts and subsequently completes, withdraws or fails to complete the qualifying requirements of a training programme.
