• You will identify, collect, document, preserve, and transport evidence to ensure integrity for forensic analysis and judicial proceedings.

• You will recognize, identify, and annotate discrepancy codes as they apply to box, form, or urine specimen bottle, requiring significant attention to detail and independent judgment.

• Works under close supervision wherein the work is closely reviewed/monitored and detailed guidance provided. Must participate in all required training (emergency rescue drills, emergency action plan simulations).
• Mandatory certifications must be complete within 30 calendar days of employment, after which the incumbent will be reassigned to lifeguard duties at an aquatic facility.
• Training includes lifeguarding, First Aid (American Red Cross or equivalent like Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS) and American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional rescuer or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED).
• For Water Parks upgrade the certification to: 'Waterpark Lifeguarding and First Aid; CPR/PR/AED' (American Red Cross)
• For facilities using Oxygen Administration, the Oxygen Administration certification (American Red Cross "Oxygen Administration" or equivalent training like from the Fire Department) must be obtained within two weeks of reporting for duty.

This position is in the Maintenance Division at Harry S Truman National Historic Site (HSTR) Independence, Missouri. The position is supervised by the Facility Operations Specialist.

• Understanding safety operations when working with various carpentry equipment such as table saw, planers, hammers, chisels, joinery, hand tools, Routers, and other tools needed to perform carpentry duties.
• Has experience with Planning Environment & Public Comment (PEPC) or a similar system of compliance documentation when working with historic structures.
• Has the ability or experience to create work orders, track, and finalize work orders into a database.
• Is familiar with historic preservation practices and can provide guidance when other workers are assisting with conservation efforts.
• Incumbent offers recommendations for future historic preservation projects.
• Incumbent assists in identifying potential wood rot areas and offers mitigation solutions that are conducive to historic preservation practices.
• Incumbent works to create a positive work environment for all maintenance staff and creates inclusion.

Ozark National Scenic Riverways is located in the heart of the Ozark Highlands of Missouri, in the southeastern portion of the state on the Current and Jack's Fork Rivers. The park features 134 miles of crystal clear, spring-fed rivers that are flanked by scenic bluffs, low mountains, and numerous springs and caves. Recreational opportunities abound and include kayaking, "tubing", fishing, hunting, and swimming. Hiking and mountain biking trails are plentiful in the area.

The duty stations for these positions is either Eminence, Missouri or Van Buren, Missouri. Limited shopping, medical, and dental are available. For more shopping, medical, dental, and entertainment, Mountain View, Missouri, is approximately 40 miles southwest of Eminence. Salem, Missouri, is approximately 40 miles north of Eminence. Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is approximately 40 miles east of Van Buren. Summers are hot and humid and winters are normally mild.

• Serve as a front-line, uniformed representative of the NPS, answering visitor questions and explaining the area's recreational opportunities, including NPS interpretive services, concession operated facilities and services, campground availability, hiking trails, etc.
• Perform assignments in accordance with all NPS and U.S. Treasury regulations governing the handling of governement funds.
• Operate an electronic cash register, computer, or Point of Sale (POS) system to conduct financial transactions; perform opening and closing functions; issue entrance receipts, tour tickets, permits, etc.
• Complete shift reports to verify money collected, accountable stock sold, and all machine transactions from the shift using shift accountability, receipt tapes; create accountability records (e.g. Excel spreadsheets) of fee collection transactions.
• Inventory and/or restock fee program supplies and assist with placing orders and preparing requisition requests for equipment/supplies needed.
