Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Your new role
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Monitoring project costs against budgets
- Assisting with accurate valuations and submissions of applications for payments
- Resolving differences on accounts and escalating where necessary
- Assessing and validating subcontract invoices/applications for payments
- Following up on due payments.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
- Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying (or similar)
- 1+ years' experience quantity surveying in the Civil Engineering industry, utilising NEC3/4 contracts
- Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain accurate records
- Sound communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
