You will work with service users with complex mental health needs to live independently and remain in their own home. You will act as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords in order to answer any queries and troubleshoot any issues throughout the life of tenancies. The service works predominately Mon-Fri, 9-5.

We have a spot in our team for an internal communications officer specialising in support for our Children and Families directorate. You’ll be joining a team of talented people who are dedicated to effective, impactful communication, and finding innovative ways to connect with our audiences.

This is a great opportunity to work on a strategic internal communications approach and make a real impact on the people working in our Children and Families directorate.

You’ll be part of an award-winning communications team at a forward-thinking council. You would be managed by the Senior Internal Communications Officer, and work closely with our Internal Communications Officer, and Head of Campaigns, Social Media, and Internal Communications.

Main Responsibilities

Our Children and Families directorate is the largest at the council. Following a huge transformation, and with a brand new director in post, they are investing in strategic internal communications to help them move forward in new ways of working, united in a clear identity, vision, and narrative.

You will lead in developing and implementing the internal comms strategy for the directorate, working with the senior leadership team and people throughout the council.
To support this, you will also produce and deliver engaging content for our internal comms channels, including video, newsletter, and intranet copy.

You’ll also

• create content for partners and the wider SCC organisation that showcases the work of Children and Families colleagues, helping the council to engage with the directorate's work and celebrate its successes.
• be involved with promoting and covering internal events that connect our audiences with senior leaders, members, and each other.
• evaluate how content is performing and report that back to senior leaders and communications colleagues.

There's a lot to be done, but it's an opportunity to make a big impact and improve communications for a large section of the council's workforce.

Within this to be able to communicate highly complex information effectively in highly emotive situations and overcome psychological resistances to potentially threatening issues. To be responsible for conducting psychological interviews, deriving information from self-report measures, rating scales, psychometrics, direct and indirect structured observations and semi- structured interviews with clients and others involved in the clients care, interpreting complex data and giving feedback effectively and with sensitively. To be skilled in risk assessment and management. These demands will incorporate frequent intense concentration often in emotionally demanding or unpredictable environments. The post holder will be expected to maintain high professional levels of clinical judgement and application of complex skills at all times. Following assessment, to provide expert formulation and psychological therapy to a high standard to service users with a range of mental health problems. The post holder under the leadership of the AHP Clinical Placement Quality Lead and AHP Professional Lead for Workforce will: Be responsible for delivering on MPFTs AHP Fair Share placement expansion programme for their HCPC registered professional group. Work closely with partner provider organisations, placement leads and HEIs providing their HCPC AHP pre-registration courses to support and achieve local practice placement expansion priorities for their profession. Undertake placement capacity mapping internally within MPFT. Lead and implement innovative models of student clinical placement education in practice within MPFT. Work to quality ensure, evidence based student clinical placements are delivered by appropriately trained clinical educators in MPFT supporting the delivery of AHP Educator Career Framework. Create an equitable and accessible environment that enables AHP learners to access their clinical placement who have a variety of learning needs such as neurodiversity and or dyslexia.

We are looking for someone to join our team to insulate walls internally on residential properties in Staffordshire. You will be required to build a stud frame against the wall insulate, plasterboard and skim. The area should be kept clean and tidy. Candidates should have a clean criminal record as a DBS will be required. Plumbing, electrical and joinery skills would be an advantage.
