Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries RF/mm-Wave Reference Design Team is looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering student to join our team for summer 2024. We will work together to solve challenging RF/mm-Wave circuit problems. 

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Design and tape-out mm-Wave reference circuits on internal test chips and MPWs.
• Use industry-standard design tools to perform schematic design, physical layout, parasitic extractions, pre- and post-layout simulations, and Elector-Magnetic (EM) simulations.
• Perform circuit optimizations to meet performance requirement.
• Collaborate with design leads on multiple concurrent projects.  

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education - MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline. 
• Must have transistor level circuit design understanding.  
• Knowledge and experience with RF/mm-Wave circuit design. 
• Proficient with Cadence based EDA tools.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) 
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• MS/PhD in RF, mm-Wave, Mixed-Signal, Analog IC design field

Philips Transparency Details

The Opportunity 

Adobe is looking for a Machine Learning intern who will apply AI and machine learning techniques to big-data problems to help Adobe better understand, lead and optimize the experience of its customers.

By using predictive models, experimental design methods, and optimization techniques, the candidate will be working on the research and development of exciting projects like real-time online media optimization, sales operation analytics, customer churn scoring and management, customer understanding, product recommendation and customer lifetime value prediction.

Autodesk Research hosts a residency program that explores emerging technologies and their potential impact on design, engineering, and fabrication. As an intern in the Research Network team, you will work alongside world-class researchers and contribute to the development of programs that engage Autodesk Research teams and residents. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Network Program Manager to design and implement programs that foster engagement and collaboration among Autodesk Research teams and residents
• Conduct interviews with research teams and residents to gather insights and feedback on program effectiveness
• Assist in the facilitation of workshops, meetings, and events to support objectives
• Deliver reports and presentations summarizing key findings and outcomes
• Work with the team to identify residents that inform and support Research and connect them to Autodesk Research teams through hosting workshops, roundtables or panels

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university
• Clear articulation and writing proficiency
• Strong interest in program design and facilitation
• Comfort with autonomous and collaborative work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

About the US Intern Program  

The 2024 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 20 – August 9 or June 17 – September 6). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:

• $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
• $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
• $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)

The Intern is an entry level position at Citi where the student will receive a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi. Interns are administrative and use this position as a start to their career. Assignments focus on attaining core competencies in any of the four core functions at Citi: Global Functions, Institutional Clients Group, Global Consumer Banking, Enterprise O&T

The Opportunity

All 2024 Adobe interns will be ‘co-located hybrid. This means that interns will be assigned to an Adobe office location, but in-office schedules will be flexible and determined by team. All interns must live in the same state, country, and within commuting distance of their assigned Adobe office, so they can be on-site as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Review existing workflows and processes for Support and identify ways we can be more agile with the Supportability and Readiness process.

• Work with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Engineering, Sales, GTM, PMM, etc.) across selected DMe products (Creative Cloud, Document Cloud) to understand current roadblocks in adhering to support readiness processes and address them.

• Partner up with global Support teams to incorporate localization efforts into current readiness processes.

• Explore ways for customers to self-resolve issues related to releases.

• Investigate possibilities of implementing an agent tracking system within Support CRM tools to ensure completion of enablement.

What You Need to Succeed

• Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent field required.

• 0-2 years of experience in a Consulting, Analyst, or similar position.

• Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September.

• Ability to understand business process workflows and Customer Support experiences. 

• Strong negotiation skills to persuade at the Manager or Director level, while sometimes dealing with ambiguity. 

• Strong writing, editing, and oral communication skills. 

• Strong organization/project management and presentation skills.

• Self-motivated, responsible, and focused on exceeding expectations.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver high quality work while adapting to change.

• Known to work with offering new ideas and tools, and executing on those ideas.

The Opportunity

The Customer Experience Strategy & Operations team is looking for a summer intern. Our team defines business strategies for the 2,000+ person Customer Experience organization, driving the annual planning process and leading high-priority strategic initiatives; and ensures operational excellence, setting OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and analyzing and reporting on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

We are seeking a strategy analyst to develop a high-impact customer experience strategy on a top-priority initiative. You will collaborate closely with our Strategy Manager and will partner with stakeholders across Support Delivery, Business Operations, Product Management, and Customer Data Insights & Analytics. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, with a strong curiosity that drives them to dig deep to understand the why behind customer actions, and a high comfort-level making data-driven recommendations when there are multiple ways forward.

· Develop strategy to address identified opportunities with refined or new customer experiences, and gain cross-functional team buy-in and alignment around priority recommendations

What You Need to Succeed

· Currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program, with an expected graduation date in spring of 2025 pursing a B.S. in Business, Industrial Engineering; or equivalent degree/experience required

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of being outcomes-driven

· Ability to independently analyze and synthesize complex ideas and extract relevant information

· Experience using visual storytelling to communicate ideas and influence stakeholders

· A customer-centric mindset and ability to deeply empathize with our customers

· UX/UI design experience is a plus

Today, Electronic Warfare (EW) is a growing enterprise - protecting the warfighter and our national security against ever-adapting threats. The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) at Leidos currently has an opening for a Signal Processing Intern to support programs in San Diego, CA with opportunities for a motivated candidate to lead tasks and/or efforts. Bring your experience and knowledge of signal processing, linear algebra, probability, stochastic processes, spectral estimation, and/or signal detection and estimation to develop, model, and evaluate the performance of techniques for sensors in challenging sensing environments. More broadly, you will advance the state of the art in research and advanced applications to support ongoing and future programs in the areas of Electronic Attack, Electronic Protection, and Electronic Support. You’ll also get to work alongside scientists and field experts in these fields to help grow your own knowledge and career.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work in small teams or individually to achieve program success

• Communicate results in briefings and written material to team and management as appropriate

• Take direction from Team or Task Lead

• Develop, model, and test algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, or C++

• Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trends

• Plan and perform analytical and engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

• Must be enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, and have completed at least 1 year of curriculum with a minimum 3.0 GPA

• Experience with Matlab, C/C++, Simulink, or similar language

• Proven record of innovation for both posing and solving complex signal processing, detection, estimation, and tracking related problems (commensurate with education level)

• Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret or higher-level clearance

• Analytical skills and experience in the areas of adaptive filter theory, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and/or stochastic processes

• Academic projects focused on application of modeling and simulation (M&S), radar, adaptive radar, signals processing, algorithm development synthetic aperture radar (SAR) or similar fields
