Job Description:

• Develop marketing and communication packages to attract and retain companies’ support of Bizlink’s employment cause for the disadvantaged and disabled sustainably.
• Conduct detailed response analysis and formulate targeted sponsorship giving outcome.
• Prepare presentation materials, statistical reports for internal and external stakeholders’ communications, press releases and speeches, newsletter as well as Web or social media presence to increase outreach, engagement and impact outcome.
• Organise and manage event activities.  Liaise with various stakeholders to achieve event outcome.
• Other ad hoc assignment as assigned.

We are looking for an Intern who is keen to work and learn in the ticketing/event industry.

• You are the face of the company and the first point of contact for the customer.
• Monitor staff attendance and ensure Call Centre Service Levels are achieved.
• Handle and follow up on open and escalated cases in a timely manner.
• Answering multiple hotlines (including ticketing, helpdesk, corporate booking) and outbound calls for cancelled/ postponed shows.
• Deliver an enjoyable and smooth experience for our customers via customer emails and social media enquiries.
• Handle escalated customer complaints.
• Provide feedback to further enhance existing processes to improve the customer experience.

The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing international freight movements efficiently and seamlessly. As the primary liaison, the Supervisor engages with suppliers, Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and internal stakeholders, addressing all global freight-related matters. This role requires proactive follow-up with internal teams on purchase order validation and close oversight of global shipment movements, as well as making critical decisions to resolve operational challenges in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Additionally, the Supervisor plays a key role in leading process transformation initiatives aimed at optimizing shipment workflows and enhancing global freight performance

What you’ll do

Supplier Management

• Guide suppliers through the required processes, ensuring accurate documentation for shipment arrangements.
• Validate POs meticulously; liaise with both suppliers and internal teams to address any validation discrepancies.
• Work closely with suppliers to guarantee cargo preparedness for effective shipment consolidation.

Global Freight Management

• Act as the primary liaison for suppliers, Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and internal stakeholders, managing all global freight operations matters.
• Oversee LSP performance, ensuring cost-effective execution of shipments within specified timelines and optimizing freight efficiency.
• Collaborate with LSPs to identify solutions for global freight challenges, ensuring timely issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the preparation, accuracy, and timely submission of all required documentation and information for shipment execution (e.g., ISF filings).
• Ensure adherence to shipping guidelines (including handling of dangerous goods, temperature control measures, etc.)
• Solicit Ad hoc or Spot freight quotations to secure competitive pricing and enhance cost management strategies.
• Monitor and track shipments daily, ensuring visibility of milestones and prompt communication of shipment exceptions to internal stakeholders.
• Track key performance indicators, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments—such as Merchandising, Planning, Finance, IT, and Warehouse Operations—to align freight management with overall business objectives.
• Lead process transformation and cost-reduction initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.

Claim Management

• Address cargo discrepancies with warehouse staff and coordinate LSP corrective actions
• Initiate claims procedures against LSPs or cargo insurers when necessary.

Ideal Candidates

• Minimum Diploma and above in logistics, supply chain or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Self-motivated with an ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong team player with collaborative work style
• Exceptional communication skills paired with attention to detail
• Proactive approach towards problem-solving in freight operations
• Professional conduct when interacting with all stakeholders
• Proficiency in English is mandatory
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Comfortable with the working hours in 12 pm to 9 pm (Monday to Friday) to cover Europe timezone.
