Role Summary:

Contribute to the Kalamazoo operations team by running various reports as well as collaborating with Procurement and Manufacturing to drive customer on-time delivery.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Use SAP to run reports on shipments.

• Use the pegging reports to drive Manufacturing orders and expedite much needed Pos.

• Assist the Order Managers with anything needed.

• Help to clear the incomplete sales order que.

Preferred Experience/ Skills:

• Communication:  Verbal, Teams, and Email

• Time Management: Need to be self-motivated and come seek more work once your current tasks are completed.

• Health and Safety: Follow all safety protocols while on site.

• Experience: Some Excel and or SAP experience preferred.

Pre-pharmacy school students may begin this longitudinal pharmacy internship experience with a pharmacy technician license until pharmacy intern license is obtained.

Internship will occur at Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals (Butterworth, Blodgett, and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospitals)

Applicants must be accepted into a college of pharmacy with enrollment anticipated for Fall 2024 (anticipated graduation May 2028)

Activities include:

• Longitudinal development includes:
  • First summer: inpatient pharmacy technician responsibilities by providing technical assistance in processing, preparing, and delivering medications and supplies
  • Second summer: compounding sterile preparations using aseptic technique
  • Third summer: direct patient interaction in obtaining and documenting medication history for a variety of patient populations or skill development in Investigational Drug Services
• Internship frequency:
  • Year-round staffing:
    • Two 8-hour shifts every other weekend
    • Approximately 3 holidays per year for duration of internship
  • Schoolyear staffing: during P3 year only, one additional 4-hour weeknight shift per week required
  • Summer staffing: up to full time work completing technical or clinical activities depending upon departmental needs
