• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with U.S. Government agencies, foreign governments, U.S. industry, international organizations and FAS overseas offices to enhance, preserve, and expand the global footprint for U.S. agriculture
• Conducts independent research to inform and provide recommendations to be included in larger or more detailed reports/policy decisions on markets, World Trade Organization matters, and regulatory barriers to trade.
• Analyzes and interprets international trade issues, conditions, or events, develops recommendations, and prepares reports and papers to support decision-making, policy formulation, or program development by FAS and USDA.
• Utilizes written and oral communication skills to coordinate across FAS, USDA, and U.S. government offices to provide technical expertise in support of U.S. agricultural trade in the international market.
• Knowledge of and skill to interpret the WTO and other international agreements that might affect U.S. agricultural trade.

At the full performance level, major duties include:

• Directs and/or participates in nationwide or regional internal control reviews of Washington, Regional, and Field Territories, identifying efficient and effective business practices and identifying areas where operations are weak and improvements are required. 
• Designs, develops, and implements visitation guidelines to insure a thorough, consistent, impartial, and accurate review of operations and report of review findings.
• Conducts program compliance and performance reviews, management control reviews, and evaluations of the Division’s operations.  Conducts interviews, gathers facts and other data, reviews a wide variety of records and reports, analyzes data, and develops conclusions and recommendations that are supported by data, documentation and facts. 
• Prepares and presents reports, briefings, and summaries to the Assistant Director, Internal Control and Review Section, and senior-level management officials within and outside the Division on the findings, trends, and observations developed from all internal control review activities conducted of the Division’s operations.
• Serves as RMS’s liaison, and coordinates on audits, reviews, surveys, evaluations, and information requests from the Office of Risk Management & Internal Control, Office of Inspector General, and the Government Accountability Office.  Assists in developing responses to proposed recommendations.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• Lead Research & Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers across various industries who would benefit from Teleport’s logistics solutions. Develop a deep understanding of target customer profiles to build a qualified lead pipeline.
• Automation of Outreach Loops: Research and implement automated systems to streamline lead generation, outreach, and follow-up processes. Use SaaS tools (e.g., Lemlist, Pipedrive) to create workflows that allow consistent, scalable, and effective communication with leads.
• Outreach Optimisation: Continuously monitor and optimize these systems to ensure high efficiency and effectiveness. Update workflows, sequences, and lead prioritization strategies as needed based on performance metrics.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system. Ensure smooth data flow between automated systems and CRM tools, enhancing the visibility of lead status and activity.

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Someone who loves to automate stuff - excited by the prospect of working with different tools
• Working on setting up systems for lead generation, lead engagement (through email, whatsapp, social media) and lead onboarding

About the role: This position will support financial accounting, audit work of Vietnam, report directly to the chief accountant. • Producing and executing effective strategies and/or action plans to address labor issues at the country, regional or sectoral levels, including for inter-agency or multilateral policy processes.
• Coordinates with relevant U.S. and partner government agencies to get work done.
• Produces deliverables in situations with quickly approaching deadlines while also handling other multiple fast-paced requests on complex issues related to labor and trade.
