Tasks & responsibilities
• Liaise with internal parties to prepare / check the supplier’s / contractor’s payment.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents for book keeping.
• Responsible for account receivable and payable functions.
• Accountable for preparation and compilation of project development costs report and relevant financial reports.
• Liaise with external parties such as Company Secretary, Tax Agents, Indirect Tax Custom, Bankers, Auditor for all the required statutory report.
Qualifications & experience
• Hands-on experience with accounting software. SQL knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Self-motivated, have good communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin
• Ensure all transactions are complete and accurately updated into the accounting system on a timely basis.
• Perform day-to-day operation of accounting functions.
• Liaise with internal, external auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers and statutory authorities to ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements.
