The purpose of this position is to assist the Wateree Recreation Area Manager in the daily operations of Wateree Recreation Area, which include, but are not limited to, cabins, RV and tent camping, bathhouse, equipment rental, boat ramp and dock, beachfront, and events/programming. In the absence of the Recreation Area Manager, the position is responsible for the overall daily operation of the facility and park. It may also require assisting at Shaw AFB Outdoor Recreation at the direction of the ODR Director. This position is responsible for preparing recurring reports and records, consolidating daily financial reports, managing deposits, assisting with budget management and collecting and accounting for fees and charges. The role involves responding to patron inquiries, maintaining various usage contracts. Additionally, the position supports the Manager in staff training, recruitment, and performance evaluations, conducts facility inspections, documents maintenance and repair needs, and enters work orders into Tririga. It also involves implementing health and safety standards, indirectly supervising up to 10 employees, preparing work schedules, handling grievances and disciplinary actions, and ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment for patrons. The position also plans, develops, coordinates, publicizes, and conducts a variety of core programming, instructional classes, and high-risk adventure programs in support of a diverse Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) under the guidance of the ODR Assistant Director/Programmer. It includes assisting other recreation aids, assistants, and specialists in the operation, upkeep, and maintenance of facilities and equipment, evaluating and addressing violations of boating safety rules, swimming area rules, and other recreation area guidelines, and assisting with the preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. The role maintains accountability of funds, resale items, and equipment, accurately records transactions and fees collected, verifies accuracy against receipts daily, ensures secure maintenance of cash tickets and receipts, promptly collects fees, prepares cashier reports and deposits, and prepares monthly activity reports. It also involves conducting inventories, assisting in the control of issued equipment, and may require working an uncommon tour of duty, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as well as occasional travel. The Lead Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CV/Interventional) operates within the Department of Vascular Surgery independently and without direct supervision as the technologist responsible for the coordination and performance of angiographic procedures, complex vascular, non-vascular and therapeutic procedures. These exams are performed with and without contrast materials. The purpose of these exams is to achieve diagnostic studies so that proper diagnosis and treatment will be delivered.

Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist to maintain control of the Vascular Interventional Department by coordinating, organizing, executing the work potential for expediting workflow patterns within the department. Organizes in-service meetings, ordering of new equipment and supplies, trains all new technologist, creates procedure schedules, assist in the operative planning for patients, scheduling of exams and procedures, conducts morning huddles, assigns workflow to ensure proper staffing for procedures schedule in the IR or Operating Room, coordinates with Vendors for supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Performs procedures within the Diagnostic and Interventional section which require the use of needles, syringes, catheters, balloons, stents, isovue, Omnipaque and other contrast mediums. The radiographer must have knowledge of these contrast mediums and know their effects and adverse reactions. Improper use or administration of the contrast can run the risk of patient mortality; therefore, it is essential that a thorough understanding of usage be possessed by those who prepare it. Must continuously be alert to the patient's condition and other disorders. Adverse reactions on the part of the patient require immediate attention so that harm does not come to the patient or equipment. Incumbent works closely with the other technologists, radiologists, clinicians, and clerical staff to assure optimum quality control, efficient coordination of activities, high quality diagnostic exam results, and patient satisfaction are achieved.
• Performs as a scrub technologist or circulating technologist while assisting the Vascular Surgeon and have knowledge of sterile technique. Depending on the procedure can recognize allergic reactions and initiate CPR (cardiovascular resuscitation). Properly applies pressure/dressing to avoid hematoma formation after interventional studies. Has knowledge of vascular systems and major vessels. Technologist is knowledgeable in the use of the specialized equipment employed for digital subtraction systems and Interventional procedures.
• Ensures that all documentation required for the completion of exams is done in VISTA/CPRS. The radiographer must be certain patient identification and requests are identical. Validates all images and corrects incorrect information prior to sending to VISTA for interpretation by the Radiologist. If deletion from Vista is required, the proper documentation must be presented for the deletion of images from the medical record through the supervisor or PACS/ADPAC Coordinator.
• Continuously works to develop a cohesive and effective team with other areas of the entire facility to expedite quality patient care.
• Maximize efficiency in the number of exams performed without compromising the quality of patient care.

• Resolves and reports a wide variety of technical problems and unusual occurrences to include, but not limited to, mold, conflicting documentation, or information available, tracing missing freight or personal property through various channels.
• Assists in the deployment coordination meetings to establish deployment timelines, requirements and unit readiness.
• Ensures customers understand the contractor and their own personal responsibilities in connection with the shipment of their personal property.
• Prepares damage inspection reports completed at shipper’s residence or warehouse.
