Duties and Responsibilities Operational Delivery Support the Chief Operating Officers team with the development and delivery of a strategic vision, in line with the Trust Strategy, ensuring that service changes meet internal and external expectations and standards. Provide business support to the Chief Operating Officer and the senior team and deal with the day to day operational issues within the Chief Operating Officers Office. About you

• An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).

Key Responsibilities
Property Management & Maintenance:
• Oversee the general upkeep and maintenance of each property.

This role will see you lead, manage and be responsible the Oxford Technical team and their performance. Working collaboratively with the Oxford Partnership Management team, as well as fully supporting each Facility operations team to ensure that their service deliver is maintained.

In addition to this, you will be required to consistently provide on a pre-planned, ad-hoc, breakdown and reactive basis, a professional and effective maintenance, service, and repair function across the cluster. You will ensure compliance with the operational requirements and contractual obligations whilst providing efficient and effective management of the expenditure for the planned & reactive maintenance budgets for the contracts.


Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.

Your main responsibilities:


- Provide the maintenance, service, and repair function on both a hands-on and appointment & supervision of external sub-contractor’s basis.
- Undertake cyclic maintenance and service works on a hands-on basis to satisfy those requirements as set out in the company’s computer aided test, inspection, maintenance, and service asset management plan.
- Populate and record asset condition and completed works detail relating to those works undertaken on a hands-on basis and which by requirement, form an integral part of the company’s computer aided test, inspection, maintenance, and service asset management plan.
- To populate and record completed technical checks and associated works detail using the company’s computer aided quality management system.
- To assist and support any of the Technical, Estates & Quality, Contract, and Health and Safety teams in respect to any reasonable technical request.
- To ensure that building service systems, associated items of plant, equipment and control systems are set and operated to an optimum to facilitate.
- Work with the mgt teams across the contract the contract to manage sub-contractor attendance for inspections and visits.
- Line manager the contract technical assistant to undertake day to day tasks.




What you’ll need to do the role


- A thorough and in-depth knowledge of health, safety, quality, and welfare procedures
- A thorough and in-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and electro-mechanical equipment statutory regulations and approved codes of practice
- Excellent hands-on skill and ability.

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Fabric Technician to join our friendly team to ensure site fabric services are to a high standard within our Health contract based at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working various shifts between 7am and 7pm.



Responsibilities

Attend regular M&E meetings with the Hard FM Manager and senior maintenance technician as required.
To carry out building fabric duties throughout Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
To prioritise and handle all demand work orders received from the facilities helpdesk, ensuring that all reactive tasks are actioned/completed within the agreed timescales.
To assist in obtaining costs for additional works and materials wherever possible using approved G4S specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
A full compliance with all current and pending health & safety legislation on site at all times.
The job holder may be required to carry out any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Engineering Manager and senior maintenance technician.


The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a motivated senior anaesthetic practitioner (RNs and ODPs) at band 6 to join our Cardiothoracic Anaesthetic Practitioner team at Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust.
