Are you passionate about tackling inequality and improving outcomes for people in Greater Manchester? GMCA is leading the way in addressing gambling harms, and we need a dynamic Programme Lead to drive our initiatives forward. As part of the Public Service Reform Team at GMCA, you will work with a diverse range of partners, including NHS GM, local authorities, and community organisations, to deliver the Greater Manchester Gambling Harms Action Plan. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on public health and social policy at a regional level in an emerging field. You will be responsible for delivering the Action Plan, prioritising key partnerships and activities, ensuring that milestones are achieved, and the programme delivers to the timescales, quality expectations, and programme budget agreed with the GM Gambling Harm Board.
About You
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant field such as public health, social policy, mental health, or mental wellbeing, with a good understanding of key principles and approaches to programme delivery and evidence of continuous professional development. You should have experience managing programme and/or project teams, motivating staff, and working across organisations to deliver quality outcomes. Strong skills in developing strategic relationships, researching best practices, and understanding the relationship between GMCA, NHS GM, and local authorities are essential. A commitment to the principles, practices, and promotion of equality, diversity, and inclusion is also crucial.
