Receptionist / Facilities Administrator
Based in Derby | on-site role with parking available
Full Time hours | shifts will be 7:30am to 3:30pm or 10:30am to 7:00pm | one week on each

One of my regular clients has reached out to me for some Reception temp cover at their offices based in Derby on a Full-Time basis, initially for one month but will likely run until the end of the year.

The hours for this role will be either an early shift (7:30am to 3:30pm) or a later shift (10:30am to 7:00pm) - worked one week on the early shift, then one week on the later shift. Candidates must be flexible and able to work both/either shift when needed.

Candidates should also have their own transport as there may be some requirement to cover other offices locally.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide Reception cover & basic Facilities support to the business.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Working on the front-desk Reception, providing excellent service to all visitors & staff entering the office
* Ensuring that all visitors are appropriately signed in & vetted before entering the building, challenging unexpected visitors when required
* Handling incoming calls, passing to the appropriate party
* Assisting with meeting room bookings including organising refreshments & stationery
* Carrying out maintenance checks, reporting any faults or work needing done to the service desk
* Some basic ad-hoc administration as required

* Previous experience in a Reception or Administration role - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal

Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a Fleet Co-ordinator to join our Asset & Technology Solutions (ATS) team based in Derby.

Within this role you'll be required to work cross functionally across the Hub Operations teams, delivering aspects of Operational Fleet support

We are looking for a Specialty Doctor to join our General Medicine Team at the Royal Derby Hospital (University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust).

The post offers an exciting opportunity to train in the growing discipline of General Internal Medicine.

The post will commence with a fixed term Specialty Doctor contract in General Medicine for 12 months. Subject to satisfactory progress at the end of this first year the successful candidate will have the option to
progress to the Portfolio Programme which we would expect to require 3-5 years for completion in most cases. The contract will be reviewed annually and extended on a mutually agreed basis, based on
successful completion of required competencies at annual review



The contract is for 10 PAs per week (9 DCC and 1 SPA). Some SPA time is pre allocated (see section ‘EDUCATION AND TRAINING’). There is the option to add on a further 2 PA DCC if requested.

The post holder will be expected to prioritise and time-manage effectively according to the activity of the department and to utilise appropriately the available senior staff for advice. Whilst on duty the appointee will be clinically and professionally responsible for their patients. It will also be their duty to:

• Keep patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) informed about their condition;

• Involve patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) in decision making about their treatment;
