To work as a Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner in the Dementia Intensive Support Service in Mid Essex which is a team that is part of the Older Adult Community Mental Health, Dementia and Frailty Service. Essential:

• Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent by experience.
• Demonstrate experience of working successfully within effective small teams in a large Public Sector or Private Sector Organisation delivering critical Platform and Infrastructure in support of Public Sector business operations.
• Hold accreditation as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) and RITT Support or equivalent.
• Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of, and capability to work within, relevant ICT related standards including HMG Security Policy Framework, IITIL V3, ISO/IEC 38500, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301, ISO/IEC 20000, PRINCE2 and MSP

The Registered Nurse (Staff Nurse) is required: To provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, whilstalways maintaining their privacy and dignity To assess care needs, develop, implement, and evaluate programmesof care To contribute to supporting the Ward Sister To support the maintenance of high standards of cleanliness in theirown clinical area To assist the Ward Sister in ensuring that nursing practice reflects current clinical developments, evidence-based guidance and is based on sound nursing audit and research, identifying opportunities for the promotion and participation in such activities Embrace the Essence of Care Framework and actively participate in its implementation locally Cannulate outpatient attendees and administer medication and therapies as prescribed, always working within the Trust protocols and policies. As an integral and highly valued member of the Specialist Care Team, the PSW will provide formal and professional peer support and practical assistance to service users in order for them to regain control over their lives and their unique recovery journey in a progressive way during their time on the ward.

Working in line with the national peer support competency framework, and the key principles of peer support as outlined by ImROC, The PSW will effectively use their own lived experience of recovery to support a person in their own recovery journey, helping the people they are supporting to navigate the inpatient pathway. By building positive relationship with service users and patients based on mutuality, reciprocity, and inclusivity, they will support people to identify their recovery goals and strengths working towards discharge. The PSW will advocate for a persons needs and support that person to self-advocate during their inpatient stay.



Where the term “service users” is used, this includes individual service users, people with lived experience, their family members and carers.
