Salary Grade B SCP 3-4 - £22,737 - £23,114 per annum pro-rata
Term time plus 5 days
Fixed term contract until 31st August 2025
Required from 9th December 2024
Actual pro-rata salary £18,680 - £18,990 per annum
35.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.00pm, with 30 minutes for lunch. A one hour team meeting will be attended after school once a fortnight.

We are a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School, providing funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year-olds, as well as a High Needs Base provision for children with complex needs. Our Day Care Centre has all-year-round provision for babies and toddlers, as well as offering Wraparound and Holiday Care for our Nursery School children.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate, to work within our SEND High Needs Base provision, which is for children with complex high needs, aged 2-4 years.
Visitors to our nursery are always impressed by the lovely atmosphere and the wonderful learning environment. They praise the way in which we care for and respect our children, the exciting experiences we provide them and the progress that they make.
Our Nursery School and our Day Care Centre have both been judged to be Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.
The successful candidates will:
- hold a relevant level 3 qualification
- be experienced early years practitioners
- understand the developmental and learning needs of young children
- is an excellent early years practitioner, with experience of working with children with SEND
- understands the developmental and learning needs of young children
- is highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
- is dedicated to providing the best education and care for all children and securing the best possible outcomes for them
- demonstrates a commitment to providing quality learning experiences for children, both indoors and outdoors
