Responsibilities:

To carry out daily job duties such as performing telemarketing calls, securing appointment, pitching sales presentations as well as following up with clients and data entry of daily activity updates.
To be part of a dynamic team and increase the organization’s market share by penetrating new markets which may contribute to revenue, sustainability and profitability objectives.
To achieve growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
To design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures it’s a strong presence.
To build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
To be responsible for providing technical support during and after the selling process.
To identify the emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
To collaborate with Interdepartmental and discuss closely with all level of people to ensure clients’ expectations and objectives are met.
To participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
To submit periodic weekly/monthly sales reports and to project forecasted sales as per specifies timeline.
To contribute to team efforts and assisting any ad-hoc tasks given as and when required.

Requirements:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and effectively present information.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess own transport and willing to travel
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, - Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master Degree, any field.
Able to communicate proficiently in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin dialect would be an additional advantage.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is confident in presentation.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Those with experience would be advantage.

It was in 1981, when Steven Low (present M.D.) suggested to Max Yeoh, then the sole proprietor of Min Tek Trading, the idea of forming Vismart Sdn Bhd (Co. No. 077069-U) as a distribution house in Malaysia. At that time, most of the distribution companies were owned by foreigners, only a few adventurous locals would dare to venture into this field. Opportunities were aplenty then. When we first started in early 1982, the main bulk of the business was in audio-visual products. It consisted of overhead, slide 16/35 mm movie & opaque projectors. In addition to these, we were also distributing OHP transparency, projection screen, lamps & related products.

Our business came into fruition in 1984, when we were given the opportunity to promote Texas Instrument ‘Children learning aids’. We were able to appoint many direct selling agents (independent) who went about promoting this range of products throughout the country. Business was brisk and most of the transactions were in CASH. Before the TI learning aids’ outlived its product life cycle, our next big break were being introduced to Verbatim Corporation as their distributor in 1985. We knew diskettes would further enhance our future in the business, thus giving rise to other IT related products such as Colour monitor, Graphic cards, UPS, Hard disk Drive and many others added on to our product list.

We are very grateful to Verbatim Corpn. who really give us all the motivation and support which we need to move up to higher level in the IT industry. Today, we are operating out of our own 4 stories industrial cum warehouse building, having sales representatives in most of the states in the country. We have more than 60 dedicated staff to service the market. And is continuing to expand our market beyond the shore of Malaysia. We are a people-oriented company. A strong believer in in-house training. We encourage our staff to further their studies and pursue proper courses for their career advancement. Most of our present managers are from rank & file. We believe every one of our staff to be given an opportunity trying one’s ability and talents. Our managers are all-rounder, product-wise.

Our main target is to work towards an RM50.0M annual sales company in the next few years. We are working continuously towards the day when the employees would be part-owners of the company. We are not too far from this reality!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in reviewing or preparing monthly closings, financial statements, management reports, sustainability reports, and financial analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Oversee daily bookkeeping activities on account receivable/payable and daily/monthly bank reconciliation.
Oversee Account payable function, such as preparation of payment, reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts etc.
Oversee Account receivable function, such as collection and reconciliation of client’s statement etc.
Assist to prepare monthly and year end management reports.
Assist your manager on company audit engagement and accounting job including administrative matters.
Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation, reconciling accounts, and addressing audit inquiries.
Accomplish work-related activities or tasks assigned by the superior as needed.
Conduct risk-based and control compliance audits within established plans and deadlines.
Develop and manage the audit programs, conducting audit fieldwork, compile audit workpapers and draft audit reports.
Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
Manage E-Invoicing matters and ensure timely submission.
Preparation in yearly budget includes cashflow
Liaison with banker, solicitor, relevant authority, auditor and tax consultants for all work matters related to annual audit and income tax matters etc.
Able to handle tax computation and liaise with tax agent on all tax matters
Assist in daily operational duties and undertake any ad hoc assignments as assigned by a superior.

JOB SPRECIFICATION

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting or Finance or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, MIA), or equivalent qualifications;
5 years of relevant working experience.
Well-versed in Accounting Software
2 years of audit experience is a must to apply this job.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word & Excel.
Good interpersonal/communication skills (both verbal & written).
Able to work independently, result-oriented & self-motivated.
