Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesaler, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as QA Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the main person in charge in maintaining the Management System (FSMS and HSE).
- Manage and report actions for products under quality on-hold or other issues to the Management including major issues which could affect business performance.
- Lead and ensure the QA team perform their roles and responsibilities as defined in their job description.
- Ensure all products received, stored, process, packed and distributed in compliance with SOPs
- Key contact person for operational staff, customers and suppliers on Quality matters.
- Overseeing and Handling of customer complaints/feedback and Goods Return.
- Ensure process monitoring - GWP/Pest Control/Hygiene/Safety in the company compound.
- Ensure compliance of CCP / OPRP and food safety requirements of manufacturing kitchens.
- Involving in regulatory, statutory and customer’s audits and assist in follow-up corrective/preventive actions.
- Manage Document Control.
- Relationship management on QA or compliance matters, supporting our Sales, Operation & Logistic team.
- Handle licensing and certification application and renewal with authorities and certification bodies.
- Any other ad hoc duty as assigned by the Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Food Science or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with supervisory/people management experience
- Knowledge in ISO 22000 / FSSC22000, or any other GFSI recognized certification
- Knowledge in Halal, ASC & MSC, ISO45001 and BizSafe certification
- Comfortable with communicating with internal stakeholders and external parties (Eg, SFA officer, auditors, customers, vendors, etc).
- Technically oriented and able to deal with meat product
- Knowledge in ready-to-eat, cooked chilled / freeze production food safety requirements
- Knowledge in product labelling requirements
- Proficient in MS Office applications

- Location: West
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
- Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
