About the role

The Plumbing, Heating and Gas department are now looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced trainer to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Area to provide high quality training and assessment for new and existing engineers wishing to requalify and upskill their current qualifications.

The successful candidate will, deliver training courses to the highest possible standards which meets industry standards and develop and support engineers to build on their existing skills and knowledge. Positively contribute to the delivery teams targets and work collaboratively with relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve the highest possible outcomes.

About the person

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 Plumbing, Heating and Gas (Or equivalent). You will need to be confident, self-motivated and be able to engage positively, with all types of learners with varying degrees of ability. You must be highly organized, able to multi-task and be people orientated. You must be approachable, and professionally presented.

You will also need:

Relevant teaching experience and knowledge, including: possession of a training qualification, PTLLS, AET or equivalent, and relevant teaching experience.
Possession of an assessing qualification, TAQA level 3 or equivalent.
Possession of TAQA 4 or equivalent significant relevant industry knowledge and experience. (Gas and renewable systems)
A full UK driving licence

The faculty of Construction are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Leader to join the well-established Carpentry and Joinery team. This is a fast paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders in providing high quality teaching aged 16 plus, teaching Level 1, 2 and 3 in Carpentry and Joinery.

Directs inputs and simulation injects regarding the environment, scenario, and operational ability to keep exercises realistic to meet mission objectives. Research and develops creative exercise techniques, often, leading to the use of external units and other services to help achieve mission driven objectives. Leads coordination efforts across multiple units and services to leverage their strengths and capabilities to enhance unit exercises. Coordinates with exercise partners to find methods and scenario injects to enhance guest units' training/exercise opportunities. • Serves as the primary focal point on numerous issues related to the identification of strategic and critical material requirements and major application areas, and development of cost effective and responsive risk mitigation plans.
• Works closely and collaborates with high level management/personnel from DLA, Military Services, Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, other Department of Defense (DoD) and federal entities, US and foreign industry and governments.
• Keeps the Administrator informed on marketing factors such as changes in supply/demand, production, consumption, imports/exports, prices and stock levels and their influence on markets for stockpile materials sales program.
