Telecare Officer

Duration: Initially 3 months
Location: Lewisham
Hours: 35 hours a week
Shifts: 3 days per week, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
Rate: £24 umbrella an hour (£19 PAYE an hour)

About the Role

As a Telecare Officer, you will be responsible for providing crucial support and assistance to individuals in need, particularly during day and night shifts on a rotational basis. Your primary duties will involve handling calls, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Work day and night shifts within a structured 7am - 7pm or 7pm to 7am shift pattern
• Respond promptly to calls and emergencies
• Assist vulnerable adults in an Adult Social Care (ASC) setting
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Experience working with vulnerable adults in an ASC setting is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Hold a clean driving license

A Membership Officer is responsible for managing and growing the membership base of an organization. This role involves a mix of administrative, marketing, and customer service tasks aimed at engaging new members, retaining existing ones, and ensuring a positive membership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to attract new members.
   Promote membership benefits and services to potential members.
   Coordinate membership campaigns and promotions.
   Maintain communication with existing members to encourage renewal and continued engagement.
   Handle inquiries from prospective members, providing information on membership benefits and procedures.
   
2. Plan and organize member events.
   Distribute regular newsletters, updates, and member communication.
   Respond to member queries or complaints, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
   Provide personalized assistance to members to ensure their needs are met.
   
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of members, including contact details and membership status.
   Manage membership database systems and tools.
   Process new member applications, renewals, and cancellations.
   Handle membership fees, payments, and invoices.
   
4. Work closely with marketing, communications, and event teams to ensure the success of membership initiatives.
   
5. Coordinate member benefits and services, such as discounts, special events, or access to exclusive resources.
   Ensure members are informed about the latest programs, services, and events available.
   

Skills and Qualifications:

• A Certificate or Diplomas in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in customer service, administration, or marketing, preferably in a membership-driven environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
  Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  Problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
