The Sales Coordinator Role
As a Sales Coordinator, you'll play a key role supporting the external sales team and optimising territory sales. Acting as the main point of contact for customer accounts, you'll oversee order progression and maintain high sales administration standards. You will work closely with the purchasing team to ensure timely order fulfilment. Proactively developing customer accounts, you'll revive lapsed ones and identify opportunities through strategic up-selling and cross-selling. This includes making outbound calls to nurture relationships, explore new opportunities, and drive. We can currently provide hybrid option to work one day a week from home for this role.

Sales Coordinator Key Duties

What you will bring

To accept delegated responsibilities from the Directorate Manager to ensure the management and delivery of excellent service results, providing leadership and acting as a role model for the staff and services within the portfolio. Activity will be based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading with the opportunity for some clinics at one of our spoke sites rather than the RBH. In this role, you will be part of the Quality Team, working within the wider laboratory and sampling structures. You will support the Quality Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Quality Management System, conducting audits for potable and wastewater sampling to ensure accreditation to ISO 17025, DWTS, and MCERTS for both sampling and laboratory activities.

What you will be doing as a Sampling Quality Auditor:

- Organising and conducting technician audits within the potable and wastewater sampling teams, auditing the QMS and laboratory methods according to the audit schedule.
- Writing audit reports, providing feedback, and conducting root cause analysis of any audit findings. Managing the completion of any raised audit findings.
- Providing advice, support, and training to the sampling and laboratory teams.
- Ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of AQC processes within the sampling teams.
- Promoting continuous improvement and sharing best practices.
- Assisting in preparation for and participating in external audit activities (e.g., UKAS, EA).
- Managing document control within the QMS.
- Proactively identifying training needs through development plans.

What you should bring to the role:

- Experience working within MCERTS, DWTS, or ISO 17025 accredited Quality Management Systems.
- An understanding of ISO 17025 or Drinking Water Inspectorate and Environment Agency quality guidelines will be beneficial.
- Ideally, experience conducting audits.
- A full driving licence and access to a car to travel between sites in London and the Thames Valley region.

Working hours: 38 hours per week. Start and finish times can vary due to business needs, and you may need to start early on some days to conduct audits, so flexibility is essential.

Base Location: Spenser House Reading. This role involves significant driving between Little Marlow, Maple Lodge, and Reading.

As a Qualified Accountant with commercial accounting and/or audit experience, you will join our specialist verification team who have responsibility for providing professional support to our investigation case teams in relation to the assessment of business and financial data. The assessment of this data is critical, and the conclusions drawn on its completeness, accuracy and relevance affect how it can be used in reaching our recommendations on appropriate trade remedies measures to the Secretary of State (SoS) for Business and Trade. This supports our mission to defend UK economic interests against unfair international trade practices.

Our verification function is similar to commercial audit and calls on some of the same skills and knowledge as are required in commercial accounting, auditing, due-diligence or forensic investigations.

Role Purpose

Working within multi-disciplinary case teams comprising investigators, analysts and lawyers, your primary role will be to provide specialist advice and guidance to our case teams to determine whether financial data provided during the investigation can be relied upon. Initially you will take on the lead role of verifying data in those cases but over time, you will ensure that investigators are upskilled in this key area and move to a more advisory role.

You will develop the verification strategy and plan, supporting the case team to form an initial judgement on the reliability of the materials received from UK and overseas parties.

You will lead the case teams in the activities required to verify the completeness, accuracy and relevance of data provided including cross-checking against other data and through interviews with company personnel.

You will have responsibility for ensuring the case teams form accurate, evidence-led judgements on the data.
