Working with the with the IT team and the wider business to identify, develop and implement improvements to technical systems and business processes. This will mean building a strong understanding of the business and forging productive working relationships with key stakeholders. GFR Data Analyst

Salary: £24,500 per annum

Location: Homebased (Travel to Bromley for initial training will be required for the role)

Monday-Friday: 09:00-17:30

Retail and Asset Solutions are looking for a GFR Data Analyst to join our Supply Chain Administrative team. The Supply Chain admin team provides support to one of our key client contracts by processing and consolidating information received from auditors and producing customer/ management information reports.

Job Specifics - GFR Data Analyst

You will be required to:

• Process, check, verify and consolidate data received from audit staff and prepare reports
• Check audit information for discrepancies
• Produce customer specific and management departmental reports, communicating these to relevant parties
• Produce ad-hoc reports as requested by managers and customers

Person Specification:

• A good administrative background
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially excel for the purpose of reporting and data input
• Database experience preferable (Access and SQL)
• Comfortable working under own initiative and unsupervised for long periods

Role Purpose:
A unique hybrid role building planograms that maximise sales whilst minimising stock risk in some of our slower turning stores.
Supporting the merchandisers in making commercially-sound decisions and helping them realise them in our stores.
Ensuring that department, business and cross-functional strategies are explored and implemented through category analysis and planning



A typical day in this role includes:

Determining the optimal range by store group, alongside merchandising peers
Building planograms within our space planning software and ensuring these are in the correct stores
Owning and managing the roll out process of one of our key stock pillars
Effectively managing poor performing lines out of the business, minimising any margin impact
Setting customer focused merchandising principles, ensuring fixture is right for the category & the business guidelines
Analysing initiatives to provide clear insights and proactively suggest next steps
Undertaking various other tasks for the role, and where required, to support others within the merchandising team.

Retail Finance Analyst (FTC 12 months)

Retail Finance Purpose

We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Retail Finance team as a Retail Finance Analyst.

The Retail Finance team forms part of a larger Commercial Finance team consisting of Commercial & Marketing, Healthcare Finance, Online & Distribution, Procurement and Property & Investments Finance.

The team is made up of 6 Finance Analysts and Management Accountants providing financial analysis and support to wide range of stakeholders including the Retail Operations Director and Store Operations team.

The team own the store running costs from a Finance perspective and act as valued business partners, ensuring that the store profitability analysis provided supports decision making.

We care about individual career development and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us. There will be an opportunity to enrol on an apprentice scheme where we will support you towards either CIMA, ACA or ACCA accreditation.

Job Purpose

This is a key role that has responsibility for providing financial information and analytical support to the Retail Operations team to enable them to deliver their company targets and business profitability. You will act as the finance buddy for the Retail Operations team helping them with queries, forecasting and budgeting.

This role also has responsibility relating to the Financial Management of the cost centres relating retail store operations and store variable costs.

Key Responsibilities

As part of month end processes in relation to the regional & retail store operation and store variable costs, you will own the posting of these costs, ensuring that there are robust controls in place and that all costs are accurately accounted for and Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed with a high degree of insight.
Finance Business Partner to Retail Operations teams, which involves answering ad-hoc queries, attending regular meetings and being a point of contact within the finance team.
Ownership of all Retail Finance Regular Reporting and Packs.
Support the Senior Retail Analyst with the delivery of the Company’s Retail KPI Bonus model.
Partner the Reporting Project Analyst with the development and launch of new automated Power BI reports.
Support the Senior Finance Analyst with the Quarterly Forecasting and the Annual Budgeting process for Retail Finance Costs.
Providing financial analysis and support to investment decisions including business case preparation and presentations to the investment committee for retail related contracts.
Substitute for the Senior Finance Analyst in their absence.
Ad-Hoc support for the beauty services business in providing analysis, completing reporting and month-end preparation.

Person Specification

Experience of working within a Retail environment preferable but not essential.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Ability to develop strong working relationships across the business including working with non-finance customers and third party providers.
Self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic.
Experience using excel.

Job Purpose

This role is a key member of the Healthcare finance team. The key derivable of the role is to provide and analyse financial information to derive insight and recommendations to drive value added decisions. Role Purpose:

Develop insight from multiple data sources to provide a 360-degree view that drives decision making within multiple business areas including customer understanding, product ranging, pricing, promotions, ecommerce and marketing.

A typical week in this role includes:

· Using SQL to interrogate our sales and customer databases and extract meaningful information for Superdrug and our key suppliers.
· Combine multiple data sources into actionable insight for the Superdrug business and present back to decision makers to ensure understanding and appropriate action is taken.
· Help to democratise data out to the rest of the business through tools such as Tableau to ensure decision making is insight led.

We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Property & Investments Finance team as a Senior Finance Analyst.

The Property & Investments Finance team forms part of a larger Commercial Finance team consisting of Commercial & Marketing, Healthcare Finance, Online & Distribution, Procurement and Retail Finance.

The team is made up of 7 Finance Analysts and Management Accountants providing financial analysis and support to the Property Director and the Property Leadership team.

The team own the Property running costs from a Finance perspective and act as valued business partners, ensuring that the analysis provided supports decision making.


Job Purpose

This is a key role within the Property and Investments Finance team that has the responsibility for the financial management of all Capital Expenditure of Superdrug and working with the Property and Investments Finance Manager in improving the processes in these areas.

You will also be responsible for Repairs & Maintenance and Utilities costs which are under the control of the Property Director & the Head of Health & Safety and Facilities and will work closely with them as their Finance Business Partner to deliver value adding, accurate and timely financial analysis in order to support their strategic and commercial decision making.


Key Responsibilities

Develop a thorough understanding of all Capital Expenditure across Superdrug.
Responsible for robust capital tracking, regular reporting and analysis at Division and Project level and business partnering with different Project Managers, ensuring that the capital is being spent effectively and generating appropriate returns in line with the Company’s objectives.
Own the month end processes, ensuring that all Capital Spend is accurately accounted for and be able to provide insight into variances where appropriate.

We have the fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our team based in Croydon, London, as a Service Charge Analyst. This is a full time, temporary position with an initial contract period between 3-6 months. This position offers a hybrid working approach, with 3 days per week in office and 2 days working from home. The Service Charge Analyst position will involve supporting the team manager to ensure all legislative Service Charge expenditure is levied to customers in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring queries are responded to within the agreed service level agreements. Please note for this role a basic DBS check will be required.
Requirements

• Previous experience of a computerised accounting system
• Previous experience of working with complex control accounts
• Previous experience within a Housing Association is desirable
• Excellent IT skills, including using Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Word

• Full basic DBS certificate required

Role Expectations

• Calculate provisions based upon actual replacement and refurbishment requirements

Develop a thorough understanding of all costs controlled by the Property Function, including, but not limited to Rent, Rates and Service Charges.
As part of month end processes, you will own the posting of certain Property Costs ensuring that there are robust controls in place, all costs are accurately accounted for and Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed with a high degree of insight.
Prepare flash reports prior to month end and participate in month end meetings to provide insight into variances where appropriate.
Support a selection of Property Cost Centres at month end
Responsible for updating Oracle Property Manager on a monthly basis for all changes in leases and assisting the Senior Finance Analyst with other tasks required for IFRS16 Reporting.
Work closely with the Senior Finance Analyst in establishing regular reporting and analysis of Property Costs.
