GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Analyst, you will be responsible for completing intermediate to advanced adjustments to correct plan participant accounts. You will act as a subject matter expert, participate in team projects as assigned, and assist colleagues as needed. You may also function in a SME capacity within the team to review and sign-off on the work of other Specialists, which may include adjustments and trades.
- Responsible for completing intermediate to advanced adjustments to correct plan participant accounts.
- May contact other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
- Processes retirement plan adjustments that are intermediate to advance in nature on the OmniPlus/AdminWeb system to correct erroneous transactions. (Ex. Current day adjustments, Loan corrections. Withdrawals, Contributions, Tradelink, and Plan-wide corrections using complicated calculator texts, manual calculations.)
- Having general understanding of other roles within RPS Operations (including but not limited to PSTs, PCTs, Cash Group, Tax Group, Asset Reconciliation, Dividend and Pricing Team and Trading) contributes to the development of problem resolution.
- This position also acts as a subject matter expert and participates in team projects as assigned.
- Senior Specialist will assist colleagues as needed and acts in a SME capacity within the team to review and sign-off on the work of other Specialists, which may include adjustments and trades.
- Appropriately escalates issues to management that involve potential financial exposure of impact to the firm.
- Prepares custom T966 reporting (customer report generators using system application language) on an as needed basis.
- Solid system knowledge for adjustments desired.
- As a specialist on the team, the incumbent will assist colleagues as needed on departmental policies, procedures, and processes.
- Creates and sustains positive working relationships with colleagues in Client Administration, Transactions and across Control and Services Support.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:
- Solid understanding of the Omni system and transactions associated with adjustments.
- 12 months of prior RPS Operations adjustment or Omni transaction processing experience and/or knowledge
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate to solve business challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Advanced knowledge of Word & Excel PC application software
- Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills to effectively problem solve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid mathematical ability
- Demonstrated ability with excel and calculator text to perform mathematical equations.
- Basic knowledge of ERISA guidelines
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- MS Access software proficiency.
- Experience using Agency, InfoPac, OmniPlan/OmniPlus/Adminweb, Business Objects, Agency Account Transfer System, AWD preferred.
- Aptitude toward data analysis.

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Career professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Develops large and/or complex business process solutions that require complex analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple business process areas and business segments. Coaches and mentors junior Business Process Analysts. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires six or more years of demonstrated business process analysis/consulting experience and at least one project as the business process lead on a “large” project, i.e., a project with duration of more than 6,000 hours or spanning more than 4 months.
