YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead program/project requirements and design sprints to define business and technical requirements through design implementation.
• Manage the requirements delivery (planning, estimation, risk management, reporting) to succeed in meeting overall program/project delivery.
• Leverage business knowledge to advise features/requirements priorities to delivery leads and/or product owners.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Relevant domain: Financial Institution, Retail, E-Commerce, Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG).
• With more than 5 years of working experience in IT business analysis, including experience in AI-driven workflows or collaborative AI-enabled team structures.
• Good understanding of enterprise applications or prior experience in various tech products/development stacks is ideal but not mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Jira Automation, or other AI-enabled platforms is a plus.
• Good communication, analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Participated in full software or product development cycles.
• Knowledge and experience of Agile development practices.
• Experience working within mob teams or other high-collaboration environments is highly desirable.

As a Data Analyst/Engineer, you will be responsible for creating user-friendly applications that will be able to launch Machine

Learning (ML) models and trigger automation solutions. You will need to work closely with cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders and IT team to support patient care and improve health services delivery.

The Data Analytics & Insight team is dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights that help support the council to deliver public services to the people of Salford. Our team comprises of an analytical function and a data engineering function. The analytical function provides analysis and insights, whilst the data engineering function develops and maintains the data architecture that allows our analysts to provide the insights that the council needs.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to play a key role in providing data and insight support to our Adult Social Care and Health Partnerships directorate. The directorate supports a wide range of services including adult social care, housing, homelessness, and health improvement. Knowledge of any of these service areas would be advantageous, but is not essential. You will also work with other council services when the need arises.

You will be responsible for providing research, analysis, modelling, forecasting, segmentation, Power BI dashboard development, performance indicators, and benchmarking. You will also help to implement the councils data strategy as well support with developing and managing the delivery of the teams business plan. You will also be responsible for seeking out opportunities for service improvement and promote the adoption of new approaches to data and insight.

The Scheduling Analyst / Senior Analyst will look at operationalizing the network plan by ensuring that schedule changes are executed accurately and all stakeholders and downline systems are updated with the latest schedules. The incumbent will also look at existing processes and work flows and make recommendations for enhancements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate schedule changes with other departments to ensure that all passengers are notified in time and that all relevant stakeholders are informed about the schedule change
• Ensure that schedules are correctly loaded into various downstream platforms
• Handle passengers' re-accommodation based on established SOP and troubleshoot issues as and when they arise
• Resolve system related issues, including providing business case for required enhancements
• Regularly update and distribute operational and marketing schedules to internal and external stakeholders
• Keep updated and share with team on system functions and process changes that can help with scheduling work

Requirements

• Prior work experience in an airline network planning /scheduling related work will be an asset
