We are looking for an organised HR Administrator with a passion for making a difference to others.
You’ll be working full time 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm) at Cygnet Kenney House, helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.
**Previous administration experience is essential. This is a faced paced demanding job and requires multitasking and liaising with a wide variety of people. Ability to use Microsoft, Excel and other software systems is essential. Knowledge around mental health and working in administrations or HR in a hospital setting is desirable.**
Cygnet Kenney House is our new hospital for women, located in Oldham. Providing a safe and secure care pathway for women with mental health needs, the service will be opening soon.
We have collaborated with the NHS to develop services to support women from the North West to be treated closer to home. There will be three wards at Cygnet Kenney House; Billington Ward, a 12 bed specialist Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Baldock Ward, a 16 bed Acute service and Harben Ward, a 16 bed mental health rehabilitation and recovery service.
The PICU and Acute environments will offer rapid access to care, supporting women to move quickly and safely through to the most appropriate and least restrictive setting. The mental health rehabilitation and recovery ward (level 2) will support individuals moving on from the Acute ward, as well as external referrals from other services such as secure, CAMHS, and more.

Your day-to-day...
Take joint responsibility for the recruitment and training administration processes of all staff at the hospital;
- Ensure that HR systems and Training databases are kept fully up to date with staff records, investigations and outcomes, grievances and training data;
- Provide administration support to management with regards to meetings, reports and correspondence including notetaking;
- Support with absence management;
- Attend weekly recruitment calls with recruitment and HR teams;
- Weekly compliance reports;
- Providing data as needed for other colleagues;
- Supporting Managers with HR aspects e.g. Occupational Health;
- Present at new starter induction;
- Setting up meetings such as absence review meetings, disciplinary meetings, welfare meetings, flexible working requests;
- Monthly training reminders to staff;
- Pull training data as required;
- Covering for Finance Assistant as needed;
- Act as unit HR link for health and wellbeing and company benefits, e.g. Employee Assistance Programme, rehabilitation service, maternity, health care, and pension and life cover information;

- CIPD level 3 desirable;
- HR/training/administration experience desirable;
- Good oral and written communication;
